These state they are sterling silver, but they caused an infection in my granddaughters ears. She's never had an infection from sterling, so my guess is that these contain a high amount of nickel. I worked in the jewelry business for years, and nickel is added to silver, it lowers the quality and is the reason people have allergic reactions to jewelry.

I felt like because people are making comments about how small these are pictures would be a good. Yes there are small but that is exactly what I wanted. These are beautiful and look great in my second hole, which is what I got them wanted for. However they also look very nice in the first hole if for whatever reason I feel like putting up there.

I love these cross earrings. I wear one in my helix piercing and it is very comfortable.
