I prefer Xyloburst Berry mints...
These taste okay, but dissolve very fast. For Xylitol, I prefer Xyloburst Berry mints that take longer to dissolve, or you can chew them if you like. It's like this - when I first got these, I over-ate them. The dentist says to consume 6-10 mg of Xylitol per day for your teeth. Each piece of these candies contains .4 mg, and 1 tin has 100 pieces, or 40 mg. Too much Xylitol isn't dangerous, but it can cause uncomfortable bowel changes, which is what happened to me. So now I'm more cautious about it.My strategy now, is to have some candies that are easy to consume (like these) to get my 6-10 mg a day of Xylitol, as well as some other very yummy ones that have low Xylitol for the amount of time it takes to consume them, like Dr. John's lozenge shape hard candies or Sparx. I've got a candy bowl set out that starts out with a dozen .5 mg Xyloburst berry mints in it, that I either eat or substitute for other candies during the day, to keep track of the Xylitol, and I haven't had any more problems with eating too much of it this way. (I don't keep track of the hard candies or Sparx - I eat whatever I want of those.)FYI, Dr. John's website also sells Xylitol lemonade that's interesting to try. I've found it can be mixed different strengths according to your taste and mood, and leaves me wanting plain water afterwards rather than another sweet drink.

Delicious and Mouth Healthy
These are perfect for after meal situations on the go. Thirty minutes is the recommended amount of time that my dentist says to wait before brushing your teeth after a meal. The acid produced from eating softens your tooth enamel. This a perfect alternative to brushing to soon or doing nothing to prevent the little buggers in your mouth from turning sugars into plaque. You can enjoy the intense raspberry flavor and help deny plaque production. The do crumble somewhat quickly. To those that want this made more stable for longer, switch to some commercial junk with artificial ingredients. The reason I tried this was for it's natural ingredients and xylitol made in America from birch trees and not from GMO corn from China.Highly recommended!

Raspberry mints
These mints almost burn my mouth. To me, they are unusable. I feel like I wasted my money buying this item.

Not as good as they used to be!
Researched and tried every xylitol hard candy in an attempt to alleviate dry mouth and save my teeth in the process. Xylitol candies are hard to come by and ones not made in China are even moreso. The Ricochet line is made in the US and is excellent quality. It is a dense little powdery "mint" as opposed to a hard candy - there must be a real difficulty in melting xylitol and making it into a "suckable" hard candy - so one has to get used to the more rapidly dissolving "powdery" kind. That said, this rasberry sour is by far the best flavor, but that might be just my personal preference. Interestingly, altho these are quite tart, everyone in the family, from grandchildren to husband, all say "yes" when I offer them some!2012: I still think these are the best available and, thankfully, they are still made in the US. However, the company has changed the taste, and also the shape. I think they might be attempting to make the candy more solid and longer lasting but the reformulation hasn't accomplished that - they still dissolve quickly - and the raspberry taste is non-existent. Sadly,I'm now downgrading these from 5 stars to 3.2013: Once again the company has changed the formula. Now the flavor is a little better and tastes more like raspberry, but it still dissolves very quickly, so that it is of little help in combatting dry mouth. I am truly disappointed for I used to be so reliant on these and wish they'd never changed the original formula. I suggest you find a single tin for purchase (Whole Foods now carries some flavors) forit would be good to try one before investing in 6 without knowing if you'll like them.

Tasty, but gone in no time!
These mints are tangy and delicious. I agree with other reviewers about how fast they dissolve. Each tin can lasts about 2 days....

Good raspberry flavor with American xylitol.
I have tried most of the flavors offered by Xyla and find this flavor, raspberry, is the best and closest to an actual raspberry taste. It is made with xylitol, so it helps me skip the sugars while satisfying my need for some candy. These are made with non-GMO American hardwood xylitol and I find them to be high quality and can trust the ingredients. However, make sure you don't eat to many as this contains citric acid, which can damage teeth. So in a nutshell, good flavor, good ingredients, Made in USA, but don't eat too many as the citric acid (I assume they included it for sour taste) can be detrimental to teeth in excess.

Tastes Great dissolves too fast
I wish they would make this dissolve similar to the cocoa ones. I have no idea why they use Xyla rather than sorbitol

Sugar free, tastes great, convenient, better than fruit!
I do not eat sugar for lots of good reasons. Many years ago, I starteda low carb eating plan and 100 lb. of weight. I no longer eat fruit. This product gives me the satisfaction of fruit without the glycemic impact, the carbs, or the calories. I have bought all the flavors. All are good, and this dark raspberry flavor is excellent.
