RaceQuip 252116 SA-2010 X-Large White Open-Face Helmet

I was just looking for a helmet so that I could participate in some local autocross events, this helmet was perfect. It was inexpensive and has the latest certification so I was set to run without having to use one of the community helmets they have at the events. The helmet is light, takes some getting used to but perfect for what I'm doing. The helmet sizing chart available on the RaceQuip website was perfect as well.

SA10 sticker. Inexpensive. Lightweight. Blue dust/carry bag included. Unnecessary stickers peeled off easily. Visor is removable via 4 phillips screws. Basic interior padding is comfy. Minimal airflow or vents - wish there was more. No removable liner - cheek pads are removable. If I could do it over, I'd spend more $ and get a nicer helmet, but this helmet is well constructed and certainly gets the job done. Similar to helmets I've rented/borrowed, but without questionable odors.

I needed a helmet that would allow me to wear my eyeglasses. Some that I have tried locally made it difficult, and somewhat of a pain to get my store bought eyes positioned correctly. I'm pleased.

This helmet is a great value. I needed something to do Autocross, and did not want to spend a lot of money, so it met my needs. Also as at least one other reviewer commented, it easily accommodates eyeglasses. A few things to note:1. My head is more oval than round. This helmet is probably better suited to round heads. On my head, it is a bit snug front-to-back, but has a bit of space side-to-side.2. The chinstrap is not easy to do up when the helmet is on (i.e. when you can't see it).

An excellent helmet for the price.

Purchased helment for scca autocross. It is snal 2010 rated. Completed one race so far and it worked fine. The open face is more comfortable in my opinion. I like it.
