Butterfly Butterfly: A Book of Colors Hardcover – March 13, 2007

My toddler loved this book from the first time we read it. The illustrations are amazing, particularly the butterfly that "flies up" from the pages at the end, and the story is interesting and easy to follow. Plus, the learning component of teaching colors and types of insects is great. These kinds of amazing books are hard to find - thank you!

A beautiful book. Especially the pop out butterfly at the end. My 3 yr old likes to turn the pages with the hidden holes on the pages. Nice little story too.

I was looking forward to using this book for teaching a children’s class about butterflies. It was represented as being in near perfect condition. The most important page, where the butterfly is supposed to be displayed after coming out of its cocoon, was missing! Big disappointment!

My 2 yr old granddaughter loves this book! I got it for her along with a packet of little butterflies because she loves them so much! The book is very colorful and is a simple 'where did the butterfly go?' story. It has a great finale--a little book lover's favorite book!!

My 21-month-old daughter LOVES this book and wants me to read it to her all the time! The pictures are bright and colorful and she has fun pointing at all the different images on each page. The pop-up butterfly on the last page is especially fun. Great buy!

I just love the illustrations and the pop up butterfly! The story is sweet and keeps me and my little one engaged until the last page.Petr Horacek is awesome. "Animal Opposites" and "One Spotted Giraffe" are great, too!

This is a great book. The children are so happy when I pull this off the shelf. The pictures are beautiful and story is lovely.

Un libro muy interesante para aprender algunos insectos en inglés y darse cuenta de como en nuestro entorno a un mundo lleno de vida y color. La historia no es excesivamente interesante o pedagógica pero es fácil de leer o explicar para niños que aprenden inglés.
