Update, on second use, the fabric near the upper knee strap has torn when I was putting it on child.As an owner of the original Rollerblade brand wrist, elbow and knee guards, I like that this set has the more rigid construction and the neoprene, wrap around straps and also the elastic straps. My old Rollerblade guards had slip on and Velcro straps that worked great, but got really sweaty or slid around if using the straps only. These seem like it would address the heat problem while still staying in place on kids joints.What I don't particularly like is that the foam padding seems to not return to its original shape after some compression is applied. As a test, I pressed my thumb firmly into several spots on the back of the knee pads and even after 15 minutes, there's still a slight imprint in the foam padding.Also, the material used to encase the plastic wrist guards on the impact side is made of thin vinyl (pleather appearance) backed with fabric; just doesn't feel durable. They should've used a more durable and abrasion resistant material.The kids haven't tried these on yet so I will update this review after they take a few falls and report back on the success or failure of the product.

I purchased these pads for my 5 year old to use while riding her scooter. The colors are bright & vivid which my daughter loved. The Velcro closures are nice and secure which made me happy. My only slight complaint is that the fit is somewhat off for the sizing. The wrist and elbow pads fit fine (almost loose), but the knee pads are slightly too small. I used the size chart for ordering. However, we just loosen the Velcro for the knee pads and they still do the job just fine. I would recommend this set as they are perfectly acceptable for the cost.

The neoprene material was soft and the velcro stays attached. The wrap around velcro is also a nice feature. The knee pad neoprene straps are too small to wrap around my son's knees but the elbow pads fit great (we ordered the XS). I was disappointed to see the seam rip so quick after only a few uses.Update: The company replaced with a larger size. My son has used them once and they did not rip. I will update them my rating if they last longer than last time.

The knee and elbow pads were good, but I felt that the plastic wrist guards were too flimsy to really protect my 7yo's wrists when he was ice skating. Also, the fabric part of the wrist guard ended up cutting into the skin on his hand.

My 8yo son uses them with his rollerblades. They fit well and he's had no severe injuries so far, so they're doing their job. They go on easily and generally stay where he needs them, which hasn't always been the case with some cheaper sets geared for kids. He likes them because there are no cartoon characters on them.

This size small set fit my 5 year old daughter great. ( She is much taller than average) She loved the color and is always eager to put them on before rollerskating.

I bought these for my granddaughter at Christmas along with roller skates, Was so glad she's wearing these with the helmet I bought her and not complaining they are too big or too small as I've experienced in other brands over the years with my grandchildren.

The pads for the knee area are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too small..ridiculous I'll say...and the straps for the elbow, can be abit longer... if your kid has some "size" it will be very tight & uncomfortable.
