Convenient, with one main flaw that's likely fixable.
Likes:-I love the portability. All three pieces, front, middle, and back, have been able to fit stacked on top of each other into the back two seats of all three cars that I have tried to get them into, the tightest fit of the three being a Honda Civic, which is a pretty small car. In-car storage is much faster than attaching a kayak to the roof of your car, and offers less wind drag. The only thing is if you want to protect your seats from any dirty water, you have to either wipe the pieces before putting them in, or have a tarp, or let them air/sun dry which happens pretty quickly.-The pieces are easy to assemble.-It is difficult to sink this kayak. A friend and I, each about 165 pounds, were in the kayak and the sitting areas were completely full of water, and it did not sink. If water stays out of the inside of the pieces, it is very difficult to sink.Dislikes:-The seams between the pieces let water into the sitting area, so you are going to sit in water, even if no water comes over the sides. So if you want to stay dry, a traditional kayak is better.-There are screw-in caps on the top of each piece. I'm not sure what these are for. My guess is that they are for removing water from the inside of a piece if there is a leak. However, they actually let water in. The caps themselves seem to screw in tightly and I don't think water comes in through the cap holes. I think water comes in around the piece of plastic the cap screws into, which is separate from the hull material. I have gone out in rainstorms and gone out in waves and rapids. In all of these situations where water is coming down onto the top of the kayak, water gets into the inside of the pieces. It comes in very slowly but if this happens long enough it will eventually sink. On these occasions, I unscrewed the caps and tried to dump the water out of the pieces. It is difficult to remove all of the water. You have to angle and shake the kayak piece to get water out and even with the best technique I've developed, you can't get it all out by this method. My plan is to glue around the cap hole pieces to prevent leaking.-It is somewhat difficult to carry, but manageable if you find the right technique or just carry one piece at a time. I have found that the best way is to grab the entire cargo elastic netting of a piece with one hand and then carry it with your hand at your shoulder.

Great boat, but has some things to be aware ...
Great boat, but has some things to be aware of. You definitely give up some things you'd expect from a one-piece boat in exchange for the unique portability of this boat. Giving it 5 stars because I feel the pros greatly outweigh the cons.Pros:-Easy to transport and store. I move this thing in the back of a Honda CRV with the backseat down.-Really easy to assemble and breakdown. Takes seconds if you follow the very minimal guidance given in the documentation.-Shallow draft. I'm able to get through really shallow channels and into all sorts of nooks for fishing.Cons:-Tracking isn't great, and can be difficult to compensate for especially if you're an inexperienced paddler.-Very much a flat water boat. Not terribly stable in waves or windy conditions.Items to be aware of:-You'll get wet. This boat functions as a self-bailer, and water does come in and out through the seams between the pieces.-Line up the straps and lift the boat at the joint when assembling and disassembling and it snaps together/slides apart. If you try to brute force it without lifting, you'll have a bad time.-The bindings that hold the boat together are really similar to those you'd find on a snowboard.-No true skeg, so it honestly handles more like a canoe when riding tandem and requires a bit of communication. Handling is great solo.

Easy to transport in a hatchback car with fold-down back seats; easy to assemble
Enjoying the new kayak and convenience of the modular structure. Easy to assemble, although it took a bit of work to learn how to disengage properly to release the sections. Seats were easily adjustable, while on the kayak and are pretty comfortable. Steering was a bit better than I expected, as it steers pretty straight in calm water in the solo configuration. My only dig (thus dropping one star on rating) on this is a wish that it had hand straps or grips for picking up the sections -- they are somewhat awkward to grasp but fortunately they are light enough that isn't a huge problem. Would love to have a tow fastener on the bow as well.Transporting -- With our back seats down on our new Prius, we can put all three sections through the hatchback, making it convenient for two people to kayak. With solo configuration, we only need one back seat down in our Prius.

easy to paddle and steer
This kayak performs very well as a single, easy to paddle and steer. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, your bottom will get wet from water that seeps into the drink holder. It is easy to assemble and disassemble if you follow the instructions on the youtube video. The problem came when I hooked all 3 pieces together to make a tandem. It was very difficult to steer. We have another tandem that we paddle without difficulty. I bought this so we could carry a kayak with us when we travel in a hightop conversion van pulling a travel trailer. It works well for that. We will be buying another front and rear module set but not the middle piece.

Good, but no carry handles and not as easy to disassemble
Two minuses - it does not have carry handles making it awkward to carry and the disassembling is not as easy - it slides back in the brackets. Otherwise I like it. I don't find it to be very stable, but it is OK. I am not an experienced kayaker though. The ability to take it apart and put in the car in pieces is worth a lot to me as is the ability to make it in either 1 or 2 person kayak.

Terrible Drain Plug Location
Awesome concept, works really well. BUT the location of the drain plug in the center section is USELESS! It is impossible to get water inside it to the location of the drain. I've had to order an aquarium pump in hopes I can get to the water with it. If that doesn't work, this tandem kayak is a disaster.

Great luxury kayak
Great luxury kayak, special if you love in an apartment. But any rapid or rain fall and you sitting in a bathtub. No drain holes, I was spending more time belling water out. Again live in an apartment, small care great luxury kayak but buy the whole piece with drain holes if can.
