Cutting NOT Required - 2 Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote Shell Case & Pad fits Honda Accord / Civic / CR-V/ Fit / Odyssey / Pilot / Ridgeline / CR-Z

The original key fob design for my 2009 Civic is very poor. The electronics are good, but the shell falls apart after just a few years. This is the most cost effective solution I've found. Nothing to program and no key to cut, you reuse the electronics and the key blade from the old fob.It's a little fiddly to assemble, but not too bad. The first one I bought lasted 9 months. Even though that's not great, it's still better than the alternatives.

These FOBs were a good value for the money. Fit my 2007 Ridgeline key components nicely. The one issue I experienced was the small piece that wraps around the key itself wouldn’t fit the FOB case. I had to use a razor blade to lightly trim the piece to get it to fit the case.

Both my fob cases broke and cracked causing the key to become unstable. I had no idea you could just change the case. As long as you have the key and transponder chip from the old case, you can replace it! The transponder chip is most important so your key will work. I had to Google how to remove it, that was not included in the instructions, otherwise I would have given this 5 stars. There isn't a transponder chip case in the new shell, but I just laid it on its side and it fit nicely. Snapped the sides together, added the screw to snug it up, and worked like a charm. Sturdy and secure. Just what I needed and saved lots of money.

I originally thought it didn’t fit and started a return. I’m glad I tried again! Everything kind of clicks into place and you really have to push hard sometimes. I wish I would have made a video. So it will seem like it can’t close when actually the reason is there are 2 slots on the sides that the key slides DOWN into position and then the top will easily click closed! It’s hard to explain (and hard to see). Also, the screws do fit. I like them better because the one that came with my key was shorter. I wish I could erase my other review. Only took one star away because I wish they had more in depth directions or that the phone number was more visible for if you need help. Both my keys work terrific now!

It works but it is very difficult to put together. I'm glad we got it though.

I bought these for a 2009 Odyssey and 2010 CRV. These do work and are great for the price. But they do take a little effort and patience. I've seen a lot of reviews mentioning the screw hole not lining up and I did have this problem at first but they do actually line up. The problem is the key is a very snug fit in the small key holder part of the shell. It's tough to push it all the way in with just your hands. I used a pair of pliers while holding on to the small black key holder to pull it all the way through and all the screw holes lined up perfectly. They were also a little tricky to snap together so be patient they do. I cannot attest to those who mentioned the cases snapping after some use as I have only had these about a couple weeks but they appear to be sturdy enough. For the price they were definitely worth trying, not much to lose really.

Bought these to replace the two original key fob casings that broke. They're pretty straightforward to install and actually feel like they're more durable than the originals.

It fits the buttons and everything for a 2013 CRV. But doesn't hold the key in place well he has movement and bends around and it's only a matter of time before this one breaks. Keep snapping apart
