Loved the CD. But I'm tired of ordering CD' s and they arrive with cracked/damaged plastic case. Amazon needs to package them better.

I love his music. I first heard his music, on TV easy listening, and wanted to hear more. I can't believe the difference in his looks on the 2 CDs.

I have added it to my CD music collection.

I love this DVD, such beautiful music! it was received promptly and in good condition.

The music was for relaxation. Also to help with getting to at night sleep.

I actually purchased this for a friend's birthday as he is enthralled by the music of Zamfir. He is extremely hard to buy for & absolutely loved this cd, & I enjoyed listening too, so it was a win win situation. The 2 disc set was a nice bonus- it gives him lots of listening time which is great as he drives a lot so uses it in the car.VERY nice album!

"The Master of the Pan Flute".Gheorghe Zamfir is a Romanian ( eastern Europe ) pan flute musician. Zamfir is known for playing an expanded version of the traditional Romanian-style pan flute (nai) of 20 pipes to 22, 25, 28 and 30 pipes to increase its range, and obtaining as many as eight overtones (additionally to the fundamental tone) from each pipe by changing the embouchure. It's a delight for your ears.

I mentioned in an earlier review that I didn't care much for Zamfir's Greatest Hits CD. However, I really liked this one much better. Probably because the selected tunes were more familiar to me and had a more "Americanized" sound.

I find this CD to be excellent. I play it on my player when I retire for the night. It relaxes me and I fall asleep almost immediately. If I should wake in the night I just hit play and I am off to dreamland. I have also listened to both CDs while awake during the day and find the choice of music and the playing to be very calming.

I bought my first Zamfir music in a cassette format in the early 80's and really enjoyed it then. I pretty much wore it out so I was delighted when this Gold cd album came out. Exquisitely performed with an orchestra. Easy listening and relaxing unlike that satanic inspired "head banging" music that's out there which is anything but relaxing. Music should be good for your soul.
