A friend bought these bars for me because I wasn’t eating well, just a little something to give me nutrition. I love them. I ordered another 12 pack in June, and am about to order another at the end of July. Great to keep one in my purse when I need a little something. Also great before or after a workout. I was curious about the high in protein bars, but they seem more like a meal, not a snack. These bars are very expensive, but if you break it down, it’s $2.38 a bar. Not bad. You usually can’t buy an energy bar for that in a health food store. Awesome snack when my sugar goes down and I’m crashing. It picks me back up until I can get a proper meal. I love the taste as well, every flavor is delish. The consistency is chewy.I read a lengthy review by a nut that tore apart the nutrition value and sugars in this awesome bar. Don’t listen to that noise. My goodness, it’s just an energy bar. Its better than eating a candy bar or drinking a soda.It’s loaded with only natural ingredients, how can you go wrong with that? You can’t. I highly recommend these bars. By the way, I always got 12 bars in my 12 the pack. If I paid for 12 and didn’t get 12, amazon would hear about it real quick. Someone at the facility must have gotten hungry. Why would anyone stand for paying for 12 and not receiving 12, is beyond me. I wish I could get a better deal, because I’m ordering the 12 pack every month and a half.

I was told about these bars by one of my intensely vegetarian clients. My client Mike keeps an eye on Every Ingredient. If a product meets his standards and he is willing to share it with me, then everyone should not only know about these but buy them too! I haven't found them in any of the large retail stores in my area, so I will keep on ordering them as I need from Amazon. These bars are really good. I am so happy that they have a multiple flavor package available.

This is the second flavor I have tried of these Skout Backcountry bars and they are both good (the first was blueberry). I rarely write reviews, but feel it is important when I find a good product. It's nice to have a convenient healthful snack option when you don't eat processed foods.

Healthy? Yes. Flavorful? Not really. They were okay, but nothing I'd order again. Sorry.

There seems to be a problem with the new bar wrapping whereby the end of the bar gets caught between the press and therefore the wrapper does not seal properly. A few of the bars in the last package I received had this issue and were stale due to the failed seal. In addition to the functional flaw, the old wrapper had better aesthetics. The bars still taste great when they're not stale.

I am so enthusiastic about your apple/cinnamon bar because it is compatible with my special diet . I like having a good tasting energy bar in the car with me so I don't need to take special foods with me any longer to eat if I get hungry while out on a shopping trip. Simple ingredients are best.

I received the bars within one week of the Best By date stamped on the box so they had been laying around for awhile in the warehouse. The product itself is ok. Their taste is similar to a Larabar but they cost more. They are a little lighter than some of the other energy bars. I didn't get more or less energy from them then other energy bars.If you order them, I strongly recommend checking the date.

They were not as good as the others the brand sales.
