Solid ladder
We bought this ladder as an addition to my kids' daddy-built treehouse. It's good quality, solid, seems to be well-made and sturdy. It attached securely to the 2x4 at the top. My only dislike is that there is not one more wooden rung at the very top to help kids get one more grab to pull up. The rope rungs don't seem to do much. Also we used two heavy-duty stakes to secure the ladder to the ground, because otherwise it swings too much, making it difficult to climb. We also recommend staking it down at a bit of an outward angle rather than totally vertical- that also makes it easier to use. Overall good though!

High quality ladder
The ladder itself is a great product. Appears to be well made and it working great on our treehouse. I would recommend staking it into the ground to make it easier to climb.

Very sturdy, rope steps seem unnecessary
The "rope steps" on this ladder provide an opportunity for smaller children to have a foot become tangled while attempting to climb.

not a 8.2 foot ladder
bought to use to get up on a 7' platform to access a spiral slide. this ladder is listed as 8'2", it is not, 5 rungs= 5' at best!! False info.. Description should read 5' usable height. Returned item.
