Tames wild morning hair
I bought this with my young daughter in mind. She has semi curly hair but it mostly just looks like a mess. Every morning her hair is a complete disaster!!! This brush has really come in handy for her. If she just uses it to brush her hair out it seems to smooth it out, not perfectly but it takes her hair and makes it more manageable for me to do what she wants me to do with it. I love how you can see the temperature so she can make sure it’s not too hot. It’s simple to use, not too big. Great product.

get your straight hair in no time
It works really well. It has a digital screen for temperature and also a power button on the side along with buttons to help you increase and decrease the temperature. Please be careful and find the right temperature for your hair. After you find the appropriate temperature, you can use it with an ease. This is a very good alternative to get your hair straight in no time. Also, use gloves to prevent yourself from getting burnt.

Not bad
I got this as a gift for my wife to use in place of her flat iron hair straightener. She has used it a couple of times so far and says that it works well. The brush does add volume to the hair as opposed to the volume that is lost when using a flat iron to straighten the hair. It seems to take a little bit longer than the flat iron and might just not get as hot as the flat iron does. She has also liked the natural feeling of brushing as opposed to clamping down with the flat iron, but she can get closer to the scalp with the flat iron than she can with the brush. So it seems that she has started with the brush, but then finished flattening her hair with the flat iron. My wife also has very thick hair and this might not be a problem for someone with thinner hair. It does seem to do the job, but I think she just prefers the flat iron instead. I am hoping that she can get used to it and see if it improves over time. Maybe it is a technique that needs to be learned? Either way, she was not too impressed with it, but didn't hate it either.

Heats up quickly and works great.
Bought this to use on my beard and it works great! Heats up fast and straightens with ease.

Good for traveling, but doesn't do the best of jobs.
This brush is more of a hot brush than a straightening brush. I recently took it on a trip to China as it was light and cheap, and I didn't care if I lost it. I used it numerous times and while it would straighten my hair a little bit, it never fully could straighten my hair and my hair would poof right out 30 minutes later. It does no justice compared to my normal straighter- HOWEVER it still does a good job for the price. Just don't expect it to work as well as normal straighteners. It's really great for travel or if you just want to use it as a normal brush that helps smooth out your hair. I would recommend for these uses, but anything it may fall short of your expectations. What I did like was the fact that it came with a travel bag, that it heated up quickly and that it held up to use in China with different voltages and such. I am still going to use this, but as normal brush routine to help with any frizz but it will not replace my straightener. But again for the price, can I really complain?

It's ok at best
I have shoulder length very very fine spiral curly hair. I tried this on dry, slept in hair, that I threw in a bun for hours, so most of the curls were worn out before I started. My hair is very easy to straighten with a straightener. Usually takes me about 20 minutes to straighten. I found this was easy to figure out, didn't even need to search the box for instructions. I set it for about 200c but as I was using it my fingers kept hitting the temp and power buttons so by the time I finished the temp was as high as it goes. It did straighten my hair, kind of. It left it fluffy and static. Overall, good for a quick brush through to make my slept in hair presentable instead of putting it in a bun. Honestly I would not buy again though. It took the same amount of time to do my hair as a straightener but my hair would look better if I used the straightener. I actually used the straightener afterward because you can't get the brush near the roots.Pros:-Shipped very quickly. Took 2 days from ordering to doorstep-Heats up quickly-Easy to use right out of the boxCons:-Hard to get hair straight close to the head-Makes hair very static and fluffy-Burnt my finger on brush while using it, so be careful of letting children use it-Temps in Celsius-When using it you tend to accidentally push the buttons a lot.-Packaging leave something to be desired. Nothing is actually sealed, so I'm hopping it was actually new. It was haphazardly thrown in a yellow envelop to ship. The envelop was half open when I got it. The box inside the envelop slides open, no tape or anything sealing it shut.

Daughter likes it, yet only displays in Celsius
My daughter says that she uses this on the highest setting which is 230 degrees Celsius . We are a Fahrenheit Family so I told her that that is 446 degrees Fahrenheit (our language and understanding). As far as my understanding, there is no way to adjust to Fahrenheit on the display. She had long semi thick hair that tangles. She thinks that it is a time saver for everyday use. As it heats up in a minute of so and because it detangles and straightens at the same time. She sometimes follows it up with a hot iron when she is looking for that extra flat and straight look.I like how there is an auto-shut off, yet I tell her to turn off after every use just to play it safe.

Does the job
I always had curly hair so I needed to straighten my hair or blow dry it frequently to keep it straight. I used to just blow dry my hair for most of the time, and I was annoyed about doing it everyday so I tried it find something convenient to use and I came across this online. I just received this a couple of days ago and tried it on yesterday for the first time. It completely straightened my hair and kept it that way for the first 2 hours, but after a while it kind of started slowly going back to its natural stage. My hair didn't completely go back to its natural stage but it stayed in between straight and curly for most of the day yesterday.
