Great looking gate
I bought this to keep my puppy from leaving g our back porch. It looks great. It isn’t super sturdy, but it does the job. I ordered a second fit inside my home.

Very impressed with this gate..
I bought this to keep the dogs out of the garage when we’re outside working with the garage door up. It installed super quick and easy. The mount pieces are build from heavy plastic and are very sturdy. It easily rolls in and out with no problems. I’ve got 3 dogs, one of every size. My small dog is able to see us through the mesh gate, which is great. My medium dog can peek over the top. She can even stand up on the mesh. The mesh is strong enough to hold her up with no problems. My Labrador puppy tries to get his feet up to stand, but we’re teaching him to sit instead. When he does Boyce up and down on the top of the mesh, it holds him up without sagging the mesh. I’m very impressed with this gate!! Love how easily it went up and how sturdy it is!!

Don't Think Too Hard
Update of the Update: I contacted the vendor through Amazon's system. The vendor was very quick to respond; within about 12 hours. I was offered replacement packs free of charge. Wow! I appreciated the gesture offered. It really shows a business that stands behind the product. They shipped quickly! Now I have two practically new gates with handles that work and, in case anything else succumbs to my big hearted dog, I have other parts, too. Hopefully, he will settle a bit and it won't be necessary. Thanks!Update: So, a year later, my gates have succumbed to rambunctious dogs. Actually, it has been an ongoing issue for a few months, but we've managed to make things work until a few days ago. The plastic hooks broke, but we had some replacements. The handles gave way to a good bump from my youngest dog. He is a McNab Border Collie and he can jump the gates, but this time he missed and cracked the handles. Another reviewer posted a picture of a crack near the screw attachment. This is what happened with mine. I have sent a message to the seller because I would like to just purchase the handles. I noticed in the question and answer section that there is a replacement kit, but I don't want to purchase all the parts, just the handles. Once I receive a response, I will update again regarding customer service. I still like these gates and would purchase these or something similar that retracts.Original Review:When the gates arrived, I was excited to put them up. I bought one for the stairs and one for the kitchen entrance to restrain grandkids and dogs from what they do when daring or food is involved. I opened the packages and found many pieces of hooks and attachment items, a big bag of two different sized screws and anchors, templates, "instructions", and the gates. So many extras and the templates showed more places to put parts than is actually needed. I am grateful for the extras because one dog chewed on a couple. I thought too hard and confused myself thinking that I had to put two different pieces for the gate to attach. I couldn't find a piece that matched one of the top two template places and there were separate numbers. I had to walk away and suspend reality. When I came back, I realized that what I was seeing was a depiction of the hook piece in different applications, either being directed outward or being placed flush against the wall. I placed the hooks directed outward because I thought it would be too easy for the grandkids to push the gate handle away from the hook and disengage it if it was flush mounted. The roller side template was straight forward and I just had to decide if I placed it within the doorway or on the wallside of the doorway. The different size screws are choices based on whether you need anchors or you can place the hooks and roller in studs. I stripped one screw, but there were plenty spares for a mistake or two. I suggest pre-drilling because the screws are not the best quality. So far, now that they are installed, they keep the kiddos and pets in check. Oh, they still romp, torment, and beg for food, but the chaos is contained in one area and my heart doesn't jump out of my chest when the youngest wants to follow siblings up and down stairs with cats and dogs in the mix to boot. One thing I really like about these is that when we don't need them in place, they retract and become relatively unobtrusive, unlike other baby and pet gates.

Not as sturdy as I hoped
This gate has a lot of features I like. It was easy to install, and I love that you can roll it up and open up the doorway when you want to. It has a low profile and looks nice. The problems we've had are due to having a 35 pound puppy. He can squeeze under the gate if it's not locked because the mesh is flexible and thin. So, we lock the gate to keep it taught, but he also likes to stand up and put his paws on the gate, which has now resulted in the gate having a 2" vertical tear in it. It looks pretty tattered in general. We got about 6 months out of it and now need to replace it. If you have a dog or child that won't be tough on this gate, it will be great for you.

Safe dogs with a great product
My dogs are getting older and are having hip and joint issues. This gate will stop them from going upstairs while I'm at work. They won't come running down the stairs when come home. No more chance to get injured. The gate works great, looks great, easy to use and easy to install. It should last a couple of years.

Several pieces broke, had to return it.
The gate is easy to operate and install. We followed the included templates and installed the brackets according to the directions. The first issue we had at this point was that one of the screw heads sheered off and now I'm left with a screw permanently imbedded in my wall. With that, I had to completely readjust the brackets, adding to the number of holes drilled in my wall. When we set the gate into the bracket, it functioned well; stretched and retracted well, and locking solidly in place. The next problem came when we tried to remove the gate from the brackets to install the next location. There are two small buttons on the top bracket that you push to release the locking mechanism, pull it back, and lift it off the bottom bracket. No matter how hard we pushed down on these buttons, it would not release. After thirty minutes of struggling, the bracket attached to the wall broke off and released. We examined the mechanism, and there is very little movement when the buttons are pressed. We tested with the remaining bracket before installing it. It became stuck, as with the first one. We couldn't remove it, and had no choice but to return it.

A snap to put up
I’m all crippled up with injuries and wife doesn’t know what side of screwdriver to use. This went up really easy. Directions need some work as they had wrong bottom piece on template. But little know how and we were fine. Looks good. Easy to use. Using to keep dogs downstairs due to age. This is a lot better then hard gate set up
