Totally worth it
I bought these quite a while back (2017) for traveling and while I don't use them much, they've always been fine - clear view, good magnification, easy to use, small and light. They fit in the palm of my hand (and I'm a small person).I'm about to go on another trip and I wanted to get something with better magnification, so picked up a couple of less expensive binoculars and found that you get what you pay for - magnification not nearly as strong as advertised, features that don't actually work. Some things were just fine - views were clear and they were easy to use - but the drawbacks made me realize what a gem these binoculars are. (The other binoculars are fine enough, but just not for my purposes.)If you're looking for something for traveling, concerts, sporting events, sightseeing, these are great, and the price point is worth it. The only thing that I wish it had were screw eyecups - since I wear glasses, having to fold down the rubber eyecups is a bit of a hassle.

Where price, style, value and portability meet!
Olympus Roamer is a great choice for anyone who is looking to get a decent pair of binoculars that is portable, provides good performance and will not burn a hole in their wallet. The Good:Compatible: Great for sporting events. It will not take up a lot of space.Stylish: Silver-style finish gives it a sleek look.UV-Protection: It claims to give you UV Protection. I'm no UV expert, but I'm guessing its a good thing. The Bad:Doesn't provide the advanced features of the deluxe binoculars, but it is still a great bang for your buck.Bottom Line: A great set for those who are looking for their first pair of binoculrs for sporting events, opera shows and other short-medium range close-up viewing. While these are a great for recreational activities, these will probably not going to be an ideal buy for the professionals.

Just right for hiking
Pluses: small, lightweight, inexpensive.Minuses: dim, surprisingly bad optics.Understand that when you buy glasses this cheap, small, and light you're not getting premium optics. The barrel distortion (off-center straight lines appear curved) is very pronounced. But for hiking these are just right. The outdoor light overcomes the problem of dimness and, really, who cares about distortion? To be able to carry something this small and lightweight and not care if something happens to it outweighs the downside. It doesn't look very tough so I'm carrying it in a little plastic box.

This unit is perfect for taking to ball games. Not too heavy or bulky.
When the price dropped, I bought it right away. I had been looking for a smaller binocular to take to ball games, I didn't want to carry a heavy bulky thing around with me. This one fits the bill and works great.

other reviewers are correct that these might be better suited for children
other reviewers are correct that these might be better suited for children.. they are really too small to be practical for every day adult use and the clarity is not as sharp as I'd expected/hoped. but as other reviewers have also said, they are good just to have around to use in a pinch.

Very clear and compact
Smaller than anticipated but the clarity is exceptional. Very nice for the price, perfect for watching the birds at the feeder which is why they were purchases. After seeing just how compact and clear they are, they will be accompanying me to the upcoming summer concerts at the Botanical Garden in St. Louis.

Excellent product !
This small easy-to-carry binocular is very high quality and works great !So for the price, it's unbeatable. Just had a prior unit that I accidentally dropped which slightly mis-aligns and makes them useless, so be careful !

Good all round
Durable, clear view, very light, pretty powerful for their size, very compact. I've used these while camping for extended periods and basic day trips. The magnification isn't mind blowing, but definitely helps. No real complaints that I can think of, but I'm not a big expert on binos. I wish they were more powerful and still the same size and weight, but pretty sure I'd have to shell out more cash. Bang for buck I'm pretty darn happy.
