Skout Organic Backcountry Sampler, 4 Energy Bars and 3 Pumpkin Seed Pouches

The bars were the best I've ever had.

These pumpkin seeds are to die for! Perfect snack - I was starving one day and ate the Sea Salt pouch and was perfectly satiated. I've also tried the chocolate coconut bar (really good and not too sweet!) and the blueberry almond bar (delicious!!). I wasn't a fan of the chocolate peanut butter - it was a bit dry and needed a crunch.

I tried a few flavors and liked them all, as did my 4yo. They are very dense and chewy, not like granola bars. I preferred the fruit flavors to the chocolate flavors. The only reason I might not buy again was the sugar content seemed high to me for a healthy food.

The sampler pack is a fantastic idea and I wish more companies would do this. I love being able to sample each product without getting stuck with a box of 12 or 18 of something you don't care for.I have so far tried the cherry vanilla bar which I LOVE! And the choc peanut which is also god (but I am totally partial to the cherry)I really, really like consistency of these bars- they are very, very moist and not chunky like many other bars are. I would liken them to a very thick fruit leather type of consistency. (Although they are in no way "leathery".)The salted pumpkin seeds....I opened the pack, ate three or four then ran upstairs to put my daughter to bed. When I came back down, my husband was on the couch with the empty pack of pumpkin seeds.... he claims they were delicious and asked did we have anymore?I enjoyed the four seeds I ate and I am assuming he enjoyed the rest of the pack. :-) I will be getting another sampler pack. I like having the variety and this time will try to get to the pumpkin seeds before my husband does!

This was a great introduction to a variety of great products by Skout. I love the bars, although I felt the sugar content was a bit to high. As for the jalapeño salsa raw pumpkin seeds….I made taco salads for dinner and topped them them these and they were absolutely fantastic. The Pacific Sea Salt Raw Pumpkin Seeds are a great topping for salads or a great little snack for on the go.!!Favorite bar out of the five were the Blueberry Almond…I could order a case of these. Oh by the way….I just wanted to share with you that I have just resolved some Christmas shopping. My friends and loved ones will definitely be getting surprise gifts of SKOUT ORGANIC PRODUCTS. This pack is so good. Jalapeño chili is my favorite and the kids loved the coconut. Heathy alternative to chips. Decided to try this as I'm trying to up our protein intake during snacks. (28.8 per 100gms) and my kids can get a bit bored with the trail mixes and nut bars.Kids go to a nut free school so pumpkin seeds are fabulous to send to school for snack without putting others at risk.Also pumpkin seeds are great for mildly clearing out the intestines of any parasites. TMI !Enjoy!

I love these products for myself and family! As an added bonus, my kids are CRAZY about the bars and I feel good about giving it to them.
