Not what it says it is
This is marked as an alarm, the enclosed instructions also say that it will set off the "alarm" light on the receiving unit, but it does not. It sets off the "sound" light, which is worthless to tell me if my house/fire alarms are going off. I cannot distinguish them from the doorbell "sound" light on the receiving unit. It seems to be a mismarked and mispackaged sound alert unit and does not send an "alarm" signal.

My son is safer now
We needed this product for use as a fire alarm alert that we use in conjunction with the base Clarity alert system. Did the job and we feel safer now.
