Doesn't seem to work at all.
Everything I've ever bought for my otter box universe case has been awesome ... except this "wifi" booster. I have to be honest. I think this company is selling a flat piece of plastic that attaches to your case to make you think your wifi signal is going to get stronger. I've tried this in multiple wifi locations where I walked away from the wifi to make the signal weaker, attached it to my phone and NOTHING. No change in signal. In fact, on two separate occasions the signal actually got weaker. I almost want to cut it open to see there is actually anything inside it but will most likely be sending this one back to Amazon. All the polar pro and mophie products for the universe case are great. This one's a serious dud. They say it is supposed to work in areas where there are interfering signals to boost your signal. I'll try it sometime when I'm in a crowd at say a coffee shop or sports arena where there's wifi. After reading the reviews, it sounds a little misleading in the advertising. Basically says its a wifi booster, not a wifi filter. The assumption when buying it was that it would boost my reception of the wifi signal. The sole purpose of buying it was to extend the wifi range of certain places (like walking out to the street in my driveway from my house ... wanted to be able to have a stronger wifi signal there). But if all it does is "filter" out other people's phones in wifi areas where a lot of people are using the same wifi then it seems kind of useless to me. Rarely am I in a location that has wifi that is so overcrowded that the signal is weak - typically if the "streaming" is weak it's not because of people on it, it's because the company doesn't have that great of a wifi service in the first place. Will still try and see if it works in crowds. So far, doesn't seem to affect the signal at all.

I think I've been had on this purchase. It's only 10$ so I can't really be that mad. It weighs nothing. You slide it on to the case and then something magical is supposed to happen with the wifi signal. I have not noticed any difference with my signal. It stays the same with it off and with it clipped in. Am I doing this wrong? I don't know.

I purchased the influx Wi-Fi booster and it really works ,I tried it in an area where the Wi-Fi was very weak. First I tried it without the influx Wi-Fi booster, and my phone just kept on lagging. Then I place the influx Wi-Fi booster on the back in within a minute I was watching Netflix on my phone. For me I give it the thumbs up!

Tried where I had one bar of WiFi, multiple times. Remained at one bar, with no performance increase.

Took the phone to an area in my home that does not have good wifi service without attaching device had to bars of wifi after attaching device had full bars. Great product
