My SWC works again!
If you have capable of doing your own wiring or having someone do it for you, this is a good product. My SWC works again. 2012 Tacoma w/o Bose.

Simple Connection - Works Well
When paired with the Axxess GM29 wiring harness, connection couldn't be simpler. I was at first a bit confused as to how it hooks up. It took me quite a while to notice the footnote in the instructions that tell you "If you have the GM29 disregard the harness that comes with the SWC". The box just plugs in to the GM29 harness and you're done. It took me a few tries to get the unit initialized, but once I did, everything worked just fine.

Product is defective
I would never purchase anything from this company again and highly recommend you do not either. When the expensive product should up, I was excited to begin my install. I was installing a new deck, and speakers, complete overhaul. Once I had everything in place I istalled the Axxess. Immediately I knew I was in for it as the box was completely empty so I had to begin using my phone to look up what I need to do. Long story short, 9 hours later, tons of YouTube videos watched, google searches completed and ChatGPT recommendations for nothing. The box would not save as it should on the final step. I put everything back together in my car so it was drivable the following day, not disconnecting the box which hung there like the waste of space it is. I contacted the company for a refund, they insisted I take my car apart to return their product to receive the refund. Absolutely not, I refuse to waste any more of my time in YOUR defective product. So I will not have steering wheel controls and am out 80 bucks. Use someone else people.

Works, but beware of getting any help.
It works, but good luck trying to get any help from the company! My mechanic put a radio in a 2006 4-runner and it needed this to make the steering wheel controls work. After many youtube videos and following directions on the website, some of the buttons still would not work. So, he called them, and they referred to the same videos for toyota, which do not work for my 4-runner. Then, they said sorry we cannot help you. Wow!!Thankfully, he finally fixed it to work with all buttons, but only by his own trial and error.

Hyundai Sonata-Kenwood 4707 - Steering Controls are back!
Was a little confusing without any history of using one, but only took a few rereads of the website instructions to figure out what I was missing (the brown wire and the 3.5 plug I thought I wouldn't need with my setup). Programming instructions are clear and worked immediately with my kenwood headunit. Thank you!
