It took some adjusting to get the clearest setting on my ceiling, but the seller had already emailed me, telling me I would have to make some adjustments to get the clearest image. Very easy to use, and would buy again except I really didn't want or need the extra films that were for kids. I'm not into cartoon characters, and wish there had been an option for more stars films instead of comics. I saw this at my massage therapist's office, and when it came, I set it up for the first time last night. Then I set up Alexa to play massage music, and I just meditated with my dogs. They kept staring up at the ceiling! The timer is handy, in case I fall asleep to the music. And you can turn on or off the motion... well, stars do move so I had it moving. Can't wait to show this to my special friend! He will really be seeing stars! :)

Mrs.H here. Himself & I took a chance on this 'planetarium ' as our first. Do not need accuracy and all those crazy light displays/colors would insure we'd never fall asleep. Just two old fogeys who wanted something to give us the feel of sleeping under a starry nite sky.Really easy to operate. Ditto charging. Wish the battery could be replaced when it no longer holds a charge...and ditto the light bulb. But it's not that pricey so hopefully battery & bulb have a decent longevity.Looks great projected upon our BR ceiling. Very easy to focus & the image we want (starry nite) is very clear, sharp and realistic. Have not tried the rotate mode yet....even if it doesn't work it would not be too disappointing. I have flickering led pillar candles- on a dim setting it's still dark enuff for the starry nite image. Pleased with this purchase. Might upgrade in future, but not now. Gonna check out other discs for variety.

I wanted to get the homestar flux, but because of the price of it was not feasible. So I got this guy, and lemme say it's not bad for the price. My biggest gripe is that the whole thing isn't in focus at once, you have to like pic which quadrant you want in focus, the the rest of it is outa focus. But other that that it looks nice and makes night time more enjoyable.

The product is awful. The clarity is well not clear. The projector cannot project greater then 2 feet and the image is grainy and fish eyed. Just awful. Also the 1 star was mandatory but SO not any star worthy.

I am a little disappointed in this product. The Star projector works as it should, rotates and everything. Came with all 4 slides. But for $50, I expected more out of it. I’d spend $30 on this no problem. But I don’t think it’s worth $50. The timer function isn’t that great either. My projector shuts off after one minute and I can’t figure out why that isUPDATE; their support team reached out to me the same day my review was posted to try and resolve the issues I had. Their support team has been excellent with their help.

We got this for my son’s room because the Homestar Classic we’d gotten him wasn’t nearly bright enough, but the Homestar Flux is prohibitively expensive. This little dynamo costs a fraction of the price of either, and it’s easily as bright as the Flux! The resolution isn’t quite as sharp, but my son didn’t mind. In fact, it turns out he prefers the more abstract “vortex” disc that comes with this one to the “night sky” option. The only real downside is the lack of a shooting star option, but that’s a trade off we were willing to make!

The media could not be loaded. I got this projector for my kids and I knew they would love it and so do I! This is one of the better ones I have came across. It lights up the whole ceiling and I love how it comes with 4 different films to choose from. You can also choose from a timer setting so it turns off by its self. The pictures also move if you choose to want that setting. I also love how you can adjust it to move so you can project it on a wall or ceiling! Love, love, love this projector. It did not disappoint!!!

There is nothing wrong with the projector. But I prefer to laser based projectors.I was hopefully the star disk would provide a realistic starry night for my kids. The problem is that the projector has to be focused and due to that some of the stars are out of focus depending on if it’s the wall, ceiling or how far away.I also found that when the rotation is enabled is will work it’s way out of focus.Every night I am refocusing it as I put my kid to bed.I would have returned the projector but my time ran out.
