Great product, it actually works!
Great product that has worked very well for me in the last week since I’ve had it. Came with a 1m cable which was perfect because I didn’t even have one which would have halted my work another couple days. I use it in my bedroom for my monitor and mounted tv to switch between. Make sure that the total cable length from 1 device all the way to the other DOES NOT exceed 3m. Wasn’t working with my HDR (and the screen would cut once it would activate) until I remembered that one of my cables was 1m longer than it should have been, so it does matter. That blue light on it is so strong though.

Great for ps5!
I got this to use for 4K HDR pass through on my PS5 while having my PSVR connected. Now I just switch it back and forth. It will demand using 2 HDMI ports on your TV. PSVR will work as a different input device. Simple as a one touch switch and works very well. You’ll have to switch it to the other television input through the TV in order to see PS VR on the screen.

This is not a splitter.
This device is a switcher and NOT a splitter. The product title says it's a HDMI splitter, and this is not the case. I should have read the description more carefully. You cannot display two outputs at the same time, so it's not possible to split the signal, which is what a splitter is supposed to do. To reiterate; you can switch 2 inputs on a single display, or switch one input between two displays. **You cannot split one input between 2 displays at the same time.** So if you were planning on using it for a streaming setup where you could play games on a main monitor and simultaneously send video to a second display or capture card, which is what I needed it for, you will not be able to do that. That being said, it will actually display at 4k 120hz with a really clear picture. And it works with my main gaming monitor at 1440p 144hz. So it's not a bad product, but it's not what I needed and it's not what the product title says it is.There is no remote, so if you want to switch the signals you have to press the button on the switcher. Not a deal breaker for me, since I'm at a desk and everything is within arm's reach, but it could be a pain for other use-cases.

Good buy
I have a project and my TV hook up to the same receiver. Every time we wanted to use the projector we had to unplug the TV hdmi cable. With this item I just have to press a button and it will switch between both. Very practical.

Use for PSVR
Very practical. I plug the PS5 from one side and the TV and PSVR (v1) from the other. Now I can enjoy both with a click of a button. No more cables to remove and plug every time I want to play VR. I play more PSVR than before. The only downside is that you can’t play VR and put the TV on for others to watch you play, but that’s a small sacrifice to make. It’s hdmi 2.1 compatible. If you have a 120hz tv or 8k tv you can take advantage of that too.Highly recommended.

It is worth using the usb for power, even if it produces video and audio without issue
Just wanted to leave some quick advice for anyone who may purchase these. These come with a short usb cable to power the splitter. They will seemingly run without issue even if you don’t use the usb cable, but it does create a heavy draw on the HDMI ports. I had one to split the feed from my PS5, and it worked flawlessly switching between TVs. However, all of a sudden I started having issues with my soundbar being unable to recognize the eARC HDMI port. But once I connected the power cord my issues went away. Overall excellent product as far as my 5 hours with it can attest. But something to know if you run into issues with other HDMI connected devices.

Unable to handle full 48gbps bandwidth 4k120hz w/ HDR
This product unfortunately cannot handle the full 48gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. When I attempted 4k120hz w/ HDR there was intermittent flickering and other issues. Unfortunately I had to return the product for this reason.

Works great, but didn’t last
With my tv only having one HDMI 2.1 port, I had been waiting for an affordable product like this to hit the market. Connected my PS5 and Xbox Series X to the device and for three months it did exactly what I needed it to do. However, three months to the day the second HDMI port stopped functioning. To the company’s credit, they quickly sent a replacement free of charge and it’s working as it should. Let’s see how long this one lasts.Pro Tip: while it is a switch, there’s significant lag if you try to go from one port to the other while you have everything on. It’s better to know which port you’re going to use ahead of time, switch to that port and then power on your tv.
