Lovely and practical!
Beautiful yet practical glass mug. I appreciate the clear glass. I initially bought this because I was gifted for Xmas what I thought was "loose" tea. but it was actually bagged tea. In any case, I love my purchase. I love being able to see the color of my brewing tea. The stainless steel loose tea leaf holder sits low enough that I believe it would steep my tea just fine. I did place my tea bag in it once just for the heck of it. It comes out rather easily for cleaning. I use it without, fill my hot water to the brim and use my tea bags. I love the screw on cap which appears to be a heavy duty acrylic. I like for when I am walking back from the break room in the office to my desk. NO spilling HOT water! (I have received many compliments) Easy to wash, double wall insulated so you don't burn yourself. Very well thought out. Classy looking and very practical. one of my favorite buys yet.

Very happy customer! Excellent tea infuser!!!!!
**UPDATE**I use this mug daily and still love it! I've had no issues with my mug handle or tea basket. Buy with confidence!Received on time (Prime). Well packaged and protected. Very, very well made. Many times you buy something metal on Amazon, get it and its cheap and will rust quick. I'm not worried about the basket, well made, quality metal.Originally I was going to give 4 stars as it came with no instructions. When it came to tea, Lipton is is my depth, so using something that doesn't require bagged tea, I was lost.I asked a question on the mug page (probably still above!) and not only received an immediate response, but a day or two later I received a letter thanking me for the purchase and gave me a few recipes and tips to help me along!Who does that in this day and age?!?!?! Personal customer care. True care.Don't hesitate, buy it, you'll love it and you'll love knowing you are buying a solid product from very solid people

Do not buy this mug, it is a poorly made safety hazard
The handle for the mug fell off within a week of light usage. Luckily the handle fell off as I was picking up the mug and the mug fell on my desk without falling over. If I was walking around with the mug it could have spilled hot liquid all over and/or broken glass. If you look at the picture you can see where the handle broke off. It almost looks like the handle was just glued onto the mug.Secondarily, the top to this mug is cheap plastic and ended up cracking all the way around where it twists on causing it to leak.At the time of writing this review two other reviewers had the same issue with the handle falling off so this doesn't appear to be an isolated issue.

Very delicate.
The mug is great but needs to be handled with the utmost care. Not sure what happened with it that I suddenly started hearing a rattling sound and looks like something cracked inside of it. Bought it a long time ago and never used it until a couple of weeks ago and now it broke.

Loved it...now not so much
I purchased this mug in January and instantly loved it. Now after a couple of months' use, I am getting small tea leaves coming through the sides of the basket. I use loose tea leaves that I let sit in the mug and then just strain through the basket when I take a drink. It worked beautifully until just recently. This is making the experience rather unpleasant. I typically handwash the mug and have not had the handle fall off, thankfully.

Handle fell off /no insulatory ability
Handle fell off- tea stays no warmer in this than in my mug , also doesn’t feel like glass, u know when you tap ur teeth against it... well, it doesn’t sound like glass. Now I m thinking , hmmm, made in China, how much lead is in this? Hmm

Good mug, lid not thought out well
Love the mug that just arrived a couple of days ago. I work with other tea drinkers that admired it as well... However, not having a lid with a hole to drink through without having to unscrew it every time means that the heat loss is about the same as a regular mug. Suggestion to manufacturer: how about a silicone lid instead so this feature can be included? Nice product overall, though

All in one solution for a good cup of tea.
It's perfect. Just what I needed to keep the tea warm with the detachable lid, while keeping the loose tea leaves under the filter.
