Amazon Brand – Pinzon Hypoallergenic Down Alternative Comforter - Full or Queen

My fiance had been searching for hours to find a comforter that was not over priced and one of good quality. We stumbled upon Pinzon hypoallergenic down comforter, read a few reviews, and decided to order this product. This comforter seemed thin at first but after using it for a couple nights it has kept us warm throughout the night without having to turn the heater on. The comforter fit into our washer which isn't the biggest and it didn't lose it shape after being laundered. This comforter was affordable and the quality has been anything but cheap.

I LOVE this thing. It’s not as thick as previous down alt comforters I’ve owned, but it’s actually much warmer than my last, super thick comforter. I’m amazed at how warm it is, given its relative thinness.The most pleasant surprise is how ridiculously soft it is. It’s so soft I don’t even use my duvet cover over it.One word of caution, as mentioned by other reviewers, it runs a bit small. Based on other reviewers’ suggestions, I purchased a king for my queen bed, and I’m glad I did. The queen would have barely covered the mattress with no overhang.It laundered beautifully. I will definitely purchase again. 5+ stars.

This is a very lightweight comforter. (I got the Full/Queen size.) It's basically a thin blanket, calling it a comforter seems misleading.If you need a comforter with a high loft, there are other comforters that are much thicker and fluffier, at a better price. And if you want a thinner blanket, there are better choices with more color options.I wouldn't buy this again.I do like that it comes with little loops at each corner so you can tie the corners of your duvet cover to them. (I've attached a photo.)

I have ordered a few comforters in my life and most leave me overheating somewhere around 3 AM. Then I take the blanket off and become ice cold. I play this game all night until my alarm jolts me from my slumber. Life is hard.This blanket has made it better though. Not too thick, not too thin, and has held up well through the wash. Very happy with the product and definitely would recommend.

I'm very happy with this. I've washed it once and it held up well. It is not super thick but it is plenty warm for the winter and should be good for warmer weather as well. I use a duvet cover over this so I am not concerned with the look of the fabric. The king size happens to be a perfect fit for my king size duvet cover from Ikea. It does have tabs in the corners to attach to a duvet cover.Update 12/8/17 - I am downgrading my review from five stars to two. I've only used this comforter for two winters and it is now so flat and thin that I had to purchase a new one for this winter to stay warm. The stuffing appears to have shifted to the edges of the comforter and the middle squares just seem basically empty and paper thin. It no longer feels warm enough as it did when it was new. I would have expected this to last longer.

Wonderful product for the price! I would not find this cheaper at department stores. It has very good weight on it. It's not too thin or too heavy. It is not fluffy but it's not also too flat. I tried placing a comforter in a duvet and it just didn't look right, so I bought the proper duvet inserts. The duvet covers now spread out real nice over the bed. I love that it has a slot on each corner to attach the duvet cover in it. It fits just right on the covers the I recently bought.

Other Amazon reviews made it sound like this blanket couldn't keep you warm during a cold night, but last night it was negative 20 degrees here in Northern Illinois. I sleep with the window open for ventilation, along with the heater on..and I didn't feel cold once.My previous blanket was from Ikea - a level 4 comforter - and I would frequently wake up freezing. It gets cold frequently where I live, so I knew i needed a warmer blanket. The blanket itself doesn't look thick, but looks are deceiving. This blanket feels much warmer than the thicker Ikea blanket I used previously.Almost too warm actually - I'm worried this might be too heavy of a blanket for the summer. I have this blanket paired with a Pinzon duvet cover, and they are apparently made for each other. The duvet cover has twist ties that tie into the sewn loops on this blanket. I purchased a comforter from Amazon earlier this year and it was too warm for our desert climate, and for this reason I returned the comforter to Amazon. I discovered the Pinzon Basics Hypoallergenic Down Alternative comforter that's listed for year-round use and bought it. For the past couple nights we've used the Pinzon comforter and found it to be just about the right weight for our comfort zone. I did layer a light blanket at the foot of the bed for just in case as we do have coolish nights. During our brief winter it can go down into the teens at night and having an extra blanket for layering makes things just right.Things I really like about this comforter:*Not too puffy and not too warm*Easy to wash and dryI plan to enclose the comforter in the Wrinkle Resistant 300-Thread Count Reversible Cotton King Duvet Set, White to help keep the comforter clean. I also like the clean white stripe offered by the Elite Home duvet.Recommend.

I'm cheap and I like cheap products, and this certainly counts as that but without being cheap in quality! It went through a wash cycle just fine and came out of the dryer perfect :)That being said the comforter itself is thicker than most for the same price range but light enough that you don't feel squished under it. I bought it during summer and used it almost every night without sweating which happened with my previous thinner comforter so the breathability is top notch. It's now getting colder every night and this thing has been keeping me warmer than that same thinner comforter so far. If it's worse in a few months I will update, but so far it's been great! I don't use a full on blanket as I tend to run hot so this is the perfect balance between too much and too little (so far).

I purchased this duvet for my son. Previously he was using a goose down duvet and I found that the fiing would shift around so much that he would end up with a bunch of down in one half of the duvet. Goose down also has a tendency to smell which I hated. I was on the hunt for a down alternative duvet that wouldn’t break the bank. I was going to purchase the silk duvet from Costco until I stumbled upon this one. It is great value for the money and bonus: it’s machine washable! It’s also not super heavyweight so it’s a great all season duvet.

Surprising warm for such a thin comforter. We have bought a few items from Amazon Pinzon and all have been very good quality. Pleased with this purchase as well. It is warm, soft and not too heavy for sleeping.

I bought this to replace a feather duvet because I'm allergic. It's extremely light-weight so for those who like some "heaviness" on them while you sleep, I also pair it with a fleece blanket for some weight - but it's suuuuuuper soft, suuuuuper warm, and a great value for money. I sleep in a cold basement and this plus the fleece for extra weight/warmth works like a charm

We are pretty warm sleepers so this is perfect. I like how it’s not super thin but not extremely heavy either. I’m glad it has loops in the corners as well to tie the covers onto. Extremely impressed with the price tag too.
