Don't waste your money
I bought this for a bright 8-year old grandchild's birthday, and planned to spend today working with him on it. I'm sorry to say the whole kit is pretty rubbishy. The text in the booklet is badly written, incorrect English, or poorly translated from somewhere or other; at times unintelligible unless you ALREADY know what it's talking about. The 'equipment' is perfunctory - downright dismal. Straws, plastic cups, plasticine, string, bicarb, salt, food colouring. Any keen parent with a working kitchen and an imagination could do better. My advice if you want to help children learn about scientific matters or even more important scientific thought is to spend the money on a trip to the Science Museum if you're in London; or to any local garden centre, seashore, mechanical museum, bus station etc etc, and talk about what you find there. This box of nonsense cost a lot of money and was deeply disappointing - more or less useless.

and was disappointed to see that Book 1 with experiements is incomplete
I've just got it for my nephew, and was disappointed to see that Book 1 with experiements is incomplete, because pages are literally missing, and instead previous pages repeat themselves, twice. Pages go 1,2,3,4,5,6,13,14,15,16,17,18,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20....then 24,19,20,21,22,23,24,31,32,33,34Not cool, guys.. not cool!

A good present that doesn’t involve a screen!
Really good for the price, included loads of cool stuff. We’re yet to do any experiments, but when the weathers a bit warmer, we’ll be cracking this out in the garden.

Brilliant.
Brilliant.. Gave it as a present and friends boy adores it and can't wait to 'do science'.. There's so much in the box.. Going to order one for my sons bday now.

Waste, multiple items missing
Extremely disappointed. I didn't open when I got as was a birthday present. My daughter unwrapped this a few days ago and about a third of the contents are missing. From first glance the magnets, tube shape the go on, a syringe, and multiple others items. I've promised I will find her a different science kit to make up for it
