Q: is this product kosher?

Have to say I don't know about that. I will get back to you when I can take a closer look at the package. Can say they are really delicious.

Q: What is the source of protein?

It's a fungus. As follows: First introduced in 1983, Quorn is the trade-marked name given to a meat substitute called mycoprotein. This plant-based protein is derived from a natural micro-fungus called Fusarium Venenatum. The fungus is fermented, in a similar way to beer or yogurt, which promotes growth of the mycoprotein.

Q: Are these definitely 12 oz packages? (Not 10.58 oz)?

Wasn't really paying attention to whether or not an extra 1.42 oz was there. Just bought the bags and was happy. Sheesh.

Q: Is this product gluten free?

Yes. It says on the bag that it is "suitable for gluten free diets". The ingredients are mycoprotein, yeast extract, egg white, contains 2% or less of pea fiber, calcium chloride, calcium acetate, onion, sage, sugar. My niece who can't eat any gluten or she will get sick visited me and she ate it and had no reaction.
