We got these for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday as she was showing an interest in cooking from the age of 2. They are perfect for her. She can easily help me chop veggies and fruit without help. They are cute and pretty great quality as well.

Bought these for my 3 and 6 year grand daughters, they only use them when parents are with them while helping with cooking. They come with the special gloves to wear. Parents felt they were age appropriate with supervision.The girls love to help in kitchen.

The gloves fit my 3 year old but she’s not the chef… my 7 yr old is and they don’t fit her. The wooden cutting tool is not a cutting board. Otherwise it’s a great product for beginners.

Great tools for little ones to learn cutting skills. My 4 year old is honing her skills with these. They can be sharp, especially with little fingers, so supervised learning is a must.

This Was another one of my daughter Christmas gift. She was very happy to help her mother cook with it.

I have one daughter, and I don't know how other kids are, but I've read that kids love to contribute and do what you do. My daughter is that way, so it wouldn't shock me if that is a universal characteristic. She wants to help do the dishes, clean the counters, sweep, and yes, prep food. It's amazing being able to get her involved with cutting fruit or prepping meals without fear of her being injured. They're not nearly as good as traditional knives of course, but these do a good job cutting for most things with which I've tried them. They are safe and I don't have fear that they'll injure my daughter. THE ONE THING I haven't felt comfortable using is the potato cutter (I think?). It's the green one with the metal looking blade. That thing is sharp to my touch and I don't feel comfortable having her use it. But that doesn't detract from the product for me because the knives are so great.

Love the various sizes. They work very well without hurting my kids. Wouldn’t recommend for squishier foods like tomatoes or very hard foods like raw carrots, but they’re perfect for apples, broccoli, cauliflower, and the like. (Also nice for a child to cut their own slice of birthday cake!)
