I had the delete and return keys get stuck and the hinges break (apparently a common problem with the 2016 Macbook 12" retina, since Apple replaced the keyboard once already). After researching options for hours, and not wanting to spend $$$ on a four-year-old computer, I took a look at silicone skins as a possible way of keeping the keys in place and covering up the keys that I wore down with my nails. I bought this on a Saturday morning, got it Monday afternoon and I have to say, it works. The keys stay in place and react and the keys I wore down look new. The only downside (and it's really minor) is that the skin doesn't match up 100%, on both the left and right sides, it's off by a tiny bit, which makes some keys look blurry, but since I touch-type, it's not an issue. I would definitely buy this again and if it wears out in a few months, would happily buy another, rather than replace the keyboard. And I would definitely buy one for my next computer, since it will keep dirt and crumbs out. Excellent bargain.

I've been looking for keyboard covers but none of them had the letters on the keys clear so the keyboard lights would show through. Such a pain to take off the covers that DONT have the clear letters. Would have to take off if you needed to see in the dark. This cover is great because the keyboard light shows through.I really hate how my rose gold macbook looked with the black keys! It really bugged me, plus these are the butterfly keys that are horrible. I bought both pinks so hopefully my photos will help other rose gold macbook owners. Personally, I like the Pink Rose (lighter color) than the Sakura Pink (darker color). IMO the light pink blends a bit better. Not sure of longevity but color is cute. Cant believe no one made a keyboard cover that exactly matches the color of the macbook.. But I'm happy with the Pink Rose cover! Cover also adds some depth to the keys so when you press down it doesn't feel so flat. Had my macbook since 2015 and out of the dozen I've tried this is the best keyboard cover I've found yet!

It's an okayish cover. It looks great at the beginning, but it warps really quickly. I do think it's one of the best options out there (and by best I mean it looks as close as possible to the actual keyboard), because it doesn't have any brand names on the space key, the letters are lit by the keyboard itself, so they're transparent and not white, and they keys are black (transparent covers always end up graying out the keys, they're just sheer). After one year of extensive usage, this is what the cover looks like. It started warping around a month after I bought it (it would warp but then return to its normal shape at the beginning, until it deformed permanently after a month). This is gonna leave stains on the screen. Some keys got wiped off, but that's only after 10 months of usage. However I don't have particularly sweaty hands so that might have helped.

I am in college & type constantly, so my keyboard cover was losing the nice matte finish - and rubbing alcohol can only go so far. I have had other keyboard covers in the past and this one is by far the best quality I have ever bought off amazon. ALthough some of the upper and side buttons do not align perfectly, it does not bother me nor make me confused when looking for the percentage button, or any others. You can still see it. I LOVE that the keyboard light shines through the key board cover - BUY IT FOR SURE!

I previously bought the rose gold cover with white on it, it lasted over a year. It would have lasted longer but my sibling ripped it by messing with it:(However, since I liked the previous one, I decided to use the same brand. This time I went with the black one (to compliment my rose gold MAC) and I am still a HUGE FAN. I will say the rose gold with white was something to adjust to when it came to typing, made it a little hard to type. The black one feels like I don't even have the cover on it! Feels amazing, looks great, and has stuck onto my keyboard beautifully. If you are looking for something with this price, I would recommend this to anyone!!!

I bought the cover in 2017 and loved it. Super thin. Great tiny little stickers to keep it in place. I went back to my Amazon orders and reordered when it developed a crack. This time I got a different product - this one was not clear, and it has a weird powdery feeling under my fingers, and there were no stickers in the package. Won't buy it again.

I cannot remember if it is made from silicone or polyurethane, but either way it has a nice texture to it compared to the standard keys. I also like that it protects it from water damage more so than if it were not there at all. What else?- the rose gold has stayed this color and I have had it for a few months now. The key backlights are visible through it well.It seems like pet fur will stick to it easily so watch out. But it slides off with minimal effort. Overall, I would recommend this purchase to a friend or buy it again when its time for a replacement.

I love THIS SPECIFIC BRAND JRC keyboard covers. They are smooth as butter and soft as silk. It's comfortable to type on, it stays in place and doesn't move. I bought the Rose Pink, and it matches my space gray MacBook perfectly. nice contrast. You can still see the light through this cover even though this cover is light. I love the material used for this cover, its NOT hard plastic like most of those other covers are made from. I will only buy my keyboard covers from this brand. I hope they make a BIG KEYS font because I loved that one for my 2015 MacBook. please make it for this model. <3 <3. Can't say enough good things!

The cover is great! I especially love that its the only cover I could find that lets the backlight of the keyboard shine through. The nice smooth finish is almost soft to the touch. The only thing that isn't the same on the cover is the symbol on the control and option keys, also there is space for the word 'enter' on the return key which is not present on the keyboard (A1708). Otherwise its perfect!

So basically it fits my Mac but some of the symbols are the wrong ones than what’s on my actual keyboard so that’s super annoying. Sometimes slides around a little bit and if you don’t clean it and close your Mac, there will be gross keyboard marks on your Mac screen. Feels nice, looks nice, and protects my Mac though so it does the job.update: It stretch out and is now impossible to type with it on. Do not recommend

Feels good and doesn't slip off the keyboard like other covers. I think this is the only cover on Canadian Amazon that allows the backlight to shine through lol (without being a totally clear one)
