Seems to work well - some notes for use with Sony
Used with Sony a6600 - this review is probably valid for use with other Sony Alpha models of similar vintage including the a6*00's and a7*'s.The a6600 has a built-in intervalometer that works just fine. However, no matter what one does, it is not possible to make that intervalometer work with the bracketed drive modes. I have an upcoming shoot that desperately needs that, so I went searching for a solution. There is basically nothing out there on the topic, so I bought this speculatively. The claim that the device will actually control a simple bracketed shot in the product listing was meant to be a backup plan to at least get some exposure bracketing should this not trigger the equivalent of a long-press on the shutter button to allow a continuous bracket. To start, the built-in bracketing function of this intervalometer seemed to do nothing at all with the a6600. It would simply take the prescribed number of shots, but there is no bracketing applied. Furthermore, it did not seem that you can combine the interval sequence and the bracketing. The selector for the number of exposure stops replaces the number of interval shots to take. Upon delving into the manual, it became clear that this is not the intended use case. The bracketing function is for taking a bracketed series of LONG exposures with the camera in bulb mode. I do not feel that this is sufficiently conveyed in the listing. However, I'm not out of luck. This device lets you set the length of the simulated button press, and that function works with the interval function, not just as a bulb mode timer. So, all I had to do was set the "Long" time to something greater than 0, and the bracket I've prescribed on-camera is taken. You just need to be cognizant of how long you set the simulated long button press relative to the time required to take the full bracket, especially if shutter speed is what is being manipulated by the camera. For a normal 3 or 5 image bracket, 1s is proving sufficient in most lighting conditions, but YMMV. I don't think all cheap intervalometers can facilitate this, so I'm happy. My first impression of the device was that build quality is not the greatest. I wouldn't feel confident taking it to a war zone, but it'll do. The device is easy to use, and the screen is easy to read. With the exception of better understanding how the bracket feature works, I found it self-explanatory. I hope this review is helpful to someone.Bottom line: Allows for bracketed interval shooting with Sony alpha.

Low quality connection cable
UPDATED: Pholsy contacted me to resolve the issue of my previous complaint by covering the costs of a new cable. I just received the cable and everything now seems to work well. I've upgraded my review accordingly.PREVIOUS REVIEW:I just received this product and it is not working properly due to a low quality camera cable. I thought the product was broken until I pressed down on the 3 pin cable (for my Canon 5D Mark iii) and found that it DOES work but ONLY when I have my finger physically holding the cable in place. I have tried re-plugging it several times and am confident it’s not going to hold onto the camera without my finger holding it there. This is very disappointing. I will likely return the entire product.

Perfect, works as advertised I'm happy
Works perfec, as advertised, however I chose thisone because I read on other reviews that this one won't stop the shutter if it connectivity is lost, but that was not true, in reality this one also closes the shutter in a long exposure if the signal is lost, reason why I'm not giving 5 star, but I didn't mind that since I can just live the controls close to each other in case I have to walk away, it works perfectly and as advertised, so a 4 rate is perfect.

Cold Temps defect
Purchased this for astrophotography with my Nikon D750. On cold winter nights, the transmitter will power off in a matter or seconds, shortening the exposures. New batteries did not fix. Seems to work fine above 40 degrees Fahrenheit. At 15 degrees it was worthless.

Works great with Lumix G85
Unit arrived on time, well packaged in perfect condition. Prior placing the order, I contacted Customer Service with few questions about this particular model; received email back with answers in less then 24 h. This is 5 Stars for CS.Unit looks and feels good quality. It has all, and more, functions I was looking for. The setup and menus are easy to follow. Range is good. I use the remote from inside the hose taking pictures of birds in the bird feeder about 25 - 30 feet from the window.

I would just like to say thank you to the seller
I would just like to say thank you to the seller. I got the remote but it would not work no matter what I did. I contacted the seller and they said it was more than likely the wrong cord. The seller sent me a new cord for my type of camera free of charge. I thought that was great customer service on their end. The remote works perfect and can't wait to use it more. Thanks again.

Worked after replacement cable
Original - Received and unfortunately would not take a picture using any setting on the remote or camera. Tried with my a6000 and a6500 with the same result wired and wireless. Upset I won't get to use it on this vacation like I hoped, but messaged to seller to troubleshoot before I return itUPDATE - their customer service was amazing at getting the issue resolved. We isolated to a problem with the connection cable and they shipped a replacement. Tested successfully in all modes (except bracket which I haven't setup). Excited to use this for my waterfall and Astro photography.

Fantastic for Astrophotography
Absolutely love it. I spent my first handful of nights using a wired intervalometer and that was a giant PITA. Not anymore. This thing makes getting my images a piece of cake and I can do it from the comfort of my chair 20 feet away.

Great Remote for a short period
I found this very easy to use, it has mostly the same functions as other intervalometers out there. I needed a wireless remote to trigger away from the camera. You simply put the transmitter in the hot shoe and plug its wire into the camera. Then the receiver is remote and mine worked perfectly from 10 foot away, which was great for my requirements. Each device takes 2 AAA batteries.*** Update to this review, it worked great until September 2022, so it lasted 4 months. ***

Just the job
I have wired intervalometers but needed something I could use away from the camera. I tried a cheaper model which gave up after one use. Rather than go down the buy cheap buy twice road again I went for this PHOLSY one. I'm so pleased I did. It works like a dream. Its well built and feels well built. The instructions are easy to follow not that you really need them. I use it mainly for light painting subjects at night under a dark sky so can use this to set of a shot or series of shots from a distance away whilst I paint parts of my subject with a torch. Not sure what the range is supposed to be but I've operated it at over 50m. Marvellous piece of kit.
