I am trying to stop smoking and this happen to be an excellent choice to help me do this.

(Revised a formerly bad review to Good)I quit smoking 13 years ago and do not want to start again. I miss the ritual, the occasion to pause, breathe deeply, and have something to fidget with. I did not want a vape with no-nicotine cartridges, I just wanted something to draw in air. I used cut plastic drinking straws while I was quitting (a technique I recommend for quitters), for situations where smoking was reflexive. I wanted something like that, plain air with a little flavoring.I decided to try this product. First, it is so difficult to draw air through, it was not suited to my desire to breathe deeply. (Edited: I made it a little easier to draw on by enlarging the hole with a thick straight pin.)Second, it is *small* and I always worried about choking on it. I put a gel pencil grip on it, plus a silicone tip for stainless steel straws on the end, to be softer on my teeth. (see photo) It’s easier to grip and not so hard on my teeth. You will need to remove the mouthpiece to put the capback on between uses.The little end piece (to keep the aroma in, I guess) is begging to be lost, though I’ve managed to hang onto it. Make sure to re-seal the Cigtrus between uses.The flavor was great to start. (Updated: Maybe I’m becoming more accustomed to it, one cartridge has lasted about two weeks with decent, strong mint flavor. It is pleasant and relaxing.)If you want to try these to help quit smoking, I suggest using the silicone modifications, especially if you’re inclined to bite the tip.
