After spending over an hour pulling out the sink, unmounting the old faucet, installing the new faucet, and then trouble-shooting the leaking from the mounting kit (bought seperately), I finally had the new faucet installed and ready to go. The, right off the bat, I noticed a problem with the new faucet - the cold valve is too loose and likes to open by itself.If I turn on just the hot water, the cold water valve also opens by itself as if by a ghost. The cold valve will also open by itself over time if it is not shoved tightly closed. This is not exceptable for a new faucet. I attached a video to show what I am talking about.Though this is cheaper than an expensive Chicago faucet, I recommend you stay away...

Review of DuraSteel Commercial Duty Wall Mount Faucet - 8" Center with 6" Swing Nozzle Spout - Dual Lever Handles. Purchased as a size correct replacement for an old "farm sink". I needed new and this one was the right size. It works as intended. The finish and quality of this unit is below average. Fortunately this is being used where cosmetics are not important. The blue plastic insert on the cold handle has cracked after about a month of use. Typically I purchase name brand faucets for longevity and the ability to source replacement parts. Hindsight, I would rather have spent 30% more for a brand name that has parts available when needed as I don't expect this one to last. I bought cheap, I got cheap.

It's a little light weight as far as the spigot, but otherwise was easy to install by a non-plumber homeowner with higher than average plumbing ability, since I have experience installing factory plumbing & irrigation work, but I've done a minimal amount of household fixture installation. My wife likes it and feels it will last if kids and others don't use it carelessly. We decided to go lead-free since it's outside and far handiest for getting drinks while working in the yard and filling our dogs' water dish. It is going to go over a utility sink I will put in next, but since plumbers had installed the supply pipes poorly (unevenly spaced till I corrected the spacing) I wanted to install my faucet first.

When the nut that holds the spout in place is tightened down the spout won't turn without also turning the nut (and loosening it back up quite a bit). I was able to fix this by wrapping the threads with a liberal amount of teflon tape so that nut could be tightened without pinching the spout. Not sure if that is a permanent fix or not.I'm also having a issue with the hot water valve. When turned on it slowly turns itself off again off its own accord.

Fair price and easy install. But chrome peeled right off the spout. Does not look too good. Sent message to company couple weeks ago and they did not respond as of yet.Company did respond after 2nd contact as was happy to send me a new spout which looks much better.Would recommend and buy it again.

Good deal, but the nut that holds the spout on loosens every time you move the spout. Doesn't leak, but I'm waiting for the day I forget to check it and turn water on full blast and it shoots apart. Otherwise had it for 1 year and no leaking

Great faucet, will last a long time if I can get people to stop trying to twist the handles off when turning the water off. Perfect fit for my pluming that was installed in 1953, can't vouch for more modern buildings. The high-rise spout makes it so that you can reach easily under as well as over the spout to operate valves.

Do not buy. Unless you like your hot water at full blast or you like to redo plumbing. In my old house, it was a pain to replace the old faucet but the second time around it was easier but still unnecessary.

Hot and cold tap handle won't stay closed. It keeps open and let water flow even I close them very tightly. So I had to order another better faucet from other seller and unfortunately it took a month to delivered. So I can't even return this not functional faucet. I wasted about $140 of my money. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
