This is not a cheap costume hat or such. It is a very well made hat. A true gentleman's topper. It has a nice leather sweatband, a satin lining and the crown is blocked to prevent it from sagging. It pairs very well with my black wool Greatcoat. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a true to style Victorian gentleman's top hat.

Bought this for husband's Dickensfair costume. He is not a daily hat wearer, but was totally comfortable wearing this hat all day while we strolled the streets of Dickensian London. It is good quality, and has the feather accent, which is a nice detail. We initially ordered a Medium, but it was too small, so we exchanged for a large. The exchange process was fast and easy, so we didn't have to worry about not having it for the event. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I bought a different brand top hat because i like the price ,but when i received it didnt like the looks and shape "and i ordered a wrong size,my fault" the crown was not the shape i like, also the brim was very curled in towards the crown , i really like the quality and its shape of the crown and the brim is not curled close to the crown,this time i ordered the right size looks great and fits right. .

This is a very nice top hat! It is good quality and very nice looking. I highly recommend it for any occasion that you might need a top hat, including costume parties, caroling, Victorian period events, Halloween, etc. Be sure to measure your head and follow the sizing instructions. Mine fits fine.

If you want to modify this hat like i did, be advised the black ribbon and bow are sewn on in various spots. Nothing an x-acto knife couldnt cut, but you'll be there a while, so just bare that in mind.That said, the hat itself is excellent. Thick, good shape, doesn't look cheap at all. It'll certainly do the trick for you. I ordered a large because i have huge hair, and it fit like a dang glove. Don't have pictures yet, but it is coming along great.Arrived secure and in-shape. Good hat! Would recommend.

The hat looked amazing and not at all like a cheap costume hat. We used it for a photoshoot, and it looked so legit with the little feather. If you are looking for something that looks expensive, this is it!
