Lumie Clear Light Therapy Treatment for Acne

I bought this product after trying all sorts of acne treatment from over the counter to prescription for a few years, after all my efforts I seemed to end up worse than I had started. That's why after reading the reviews I convinced myself spending that much money on this would be worth it if it worked (spent a lot more on all the previous products). I have now been using it for almost twelve weeks and it's brilliant. It's so easy to use, I hold it to my cheeks, fifteen minutes each side every day, normally in the evening when in bed and watching telly. It has no side effects and most importantly for me didn't make it get worse before it got better as I am like most and if I see it failing get so fed up and give up on it, this is easier to stick to because it only gets better. I'm 20 and I had got to the point where I couldn't stand being without make up and it would constantly be on my mind, my skin used to be sensitive and fragile and would break out over the smallest thing. I kept a record of how many days I had used the light and after about three weeks I started to see a difference, it took a while for me to believe it was working as I didn't want to get my hopes up but gradually my acne cleared up. After about 8-10 weeks as all the other reviews say I really saw a difference, my skin now, although I still have the odd spot, is unrecognisable to how it used to be. It is no longer fragile and has almost completely cleared up. I've never done a review for anything before but I felt like the reviews I had read convinced me to buy the product and has helped me enormously. I would say it is well worth the money for how it has made me feel, I could now go without make up most days and not worry about people looking or having to check every hour my skin was covered in make up. I've become a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my face and I use anti-bac wipes after I've used it as I hold it to my face. It's extremely bright and I have used the goggles once but they broke and were slightly uncomfortable but I'm sure you could get some better ones for not too much money if needed but you only have to wear them if you use the light from a distance so for me it's not a problem. I don't know if it is related in any way but my skin would always clear up after a few days on a sunny holiday, so if yours does too maybe this is the right thing for you as well. I've become extremely cynical about creams and lotions so this was perfect. Hope this helps some one and good luck :)

I bought Lumie Clear after reading a lot of the good reviews. I have spent the past 2 months using it everyday for about an hour to an hour and a half when you add up the different patches of 15 minutes per area of skin. So I have invested the amount of time that was instructed. The product promises that by 8 weeks there should be an improvement in acne. I've been doing everything right from eating healthy, exercising and using lumie.My acne is just as bad if not worse. And I now have a Dr Apt. I'm so disappointed and sad it didn't work because I wanted to be able to do something myself instead of creams/ medication.I can't process a refund because the first machine I received was faulty and they send me a replacement and now the new one I have I can't request a refund because there's not option.So if it is possible, I would like a refund. I'm just sad it didn't work.Also made my freckles so much more visible and dark on the areas I used it, awful patchy freckles now :(

I've suffered with acne for about ten years now and have tried EVERYTHING from topical creams to Roaccutane treatment (which cleared up my skin for a year, then it all came back, and it destroyed my skin in other ways!) I've been using Lumie Clear for nearly two months now and am incredibly happy with the results. I've had more compliments about my skin in the last month than in my whole life! When my Lumie Clear arrived I was in the middle of a really bad break-out, covering both cheeks. Within 1-2 weeks it cleared up the breakout and I've hardly had any spots since. I don't use my trusty Panoxyl 2.5 anymore either - just facewash (I have dermalogica microfoliant which I bought in a panic last year and I do like it, but to be honest it's so expensive and the Simple facewash is equally brilliant) and moisturiser (oil-free). My skin is so soft and it feels wonderful to be rid of bumps. I've given 4 stars purely based on practicality as you have to do it every day and hold it directly to your face for 15 mins on affected areas for best results. Inevitably, I've missed a few sessions, but it is fairly easy to fit into my day really as I easily spend 30 mins each day watching TV or at the computer. If I need both hands while treating, I just stick a hairband round my face to hold the Lumie in place while I type! Looks silly but makes it effortless. My main area for acne has always been my cheeks, which is where I place the Lumie Clear and honestly the results are 5 stars. This, combined with Bare Minerals Summer Bisque concealer (hands down the best coverage and most lovely, kind-to-skin concealer I have ever used) has changed my skin completely. Very, very happy I made this purchase, it's made me so much happier with my skin and happier in general!

En tous cas, nets progrès sur l'acné après trois semaines d'utilisation. Mais il faut peut être relativiser : plus de piscine deux fois par jour, mais par contre soleil et plage.

Lumie NSACU-0000 Clear Lichttherapie zur Behandlung von Akne Zunächst einmal: Der Kauf des Lichttherapie-Gerätes war eine Notlösung, denn eine Anschaffung für knapp 200 Euro macht man nicht so aus dem hohlen Bauch...Meine Dermatologin hatte mir zur Behandlung einer Akne, unter der ich seit mehreren Jahren leide, eine Lichttherapie verordnet, zu der ich für ca. 3 Monate 2 - 3 mal pro Woche ihre Praxis hätte aufsuchen müssen. Da ich nach den ersten Behandlungen bereits bemerkte, dass die Therapie mir gut tut (sie verhindert nicht nur die Bildung neuer Pickel, sondern lässt im Laufe der Zeit auch die Narben der alten Pickel verblassen), war es zunächst für mich ein Schock, als die Behandlung wegen einer familiären Notsituation der Ärztin für unbestimmte Zeit verschoben werden musste. Und dann habe ich mich nach einer Alternative umgeschaut ... und diese bei Amazon in dem o.a. Artikel gefunden. Meine Bedenken wegen des Preises waren bei der ersten Anwendung des Lichttherapie-Gerätes gleich verschwunden, weil die Wirkung exakt die gleichen Resultate aufwies, wie ich sie bei der Behandlung durch die Dermatologin festgestellt hatte, so dass ich den Kauf in keiner Weise bereut habe.Im Gegenteil: Zwar hätte meine Krankenkasse die Lichttherapie beim Arzt bezahlt, doch hätte ich dreimal in der Woche die Zeit aufwenden müssen, um zur ca.10 km von meinem Wohnort entfernten Praxis zu fahren. Ich benutze die Lumie Clear Lichttherapie, um in erster Linie unreine Haut zu bekämpfen und keine Akne. Leider stellt sich bei mir als Zucker- und Fettsympatisant nach dem Genuss dieser sehr schnell eine starke Verschlechterung der Haut ein. Cremes und Mittelchen sind da eher wirkungslos und aggressive Reinigungswässerchen führten nie zu einer Verbesserung.Desweiteren reagiert meine ohnehin empfindliche Haut auf eine Rasur sehr unangenehm mit kleinen Bläschen, die zum Einen sehr schmerzhaft sind und zum Anderen unschön aussehen.---- Anwendung ----Getestet habe ich die Lichttherapie also mit der Einnahme von zucker-und fettreicher Nahrung und einer gründlichen Rasur. Wie zu erwarten, verschlechterte sich das Hautbild rapide.Die Anwendung der Lumie Clear war denkbar einfach. Die entsprechenden Hautpartien wurde zielgerichtet und durch direkten Kontakt mit der Lichteinheit "bestrahlt".Die Wirkung war kurze Zeit später auf jeden Fall zu spüren, denn es wurde angenehm warm. Lästig allein ist, dass man das Gerät die ganze Zeit halten muss. Am Besten ist es, sich gemütlich zu platzieren und den Lichtaufsatz der Lumie Clear einfach auf die Haut zu legen, sofern dieses möglich ist.Ob es nun Einbildung ist oder nicht, vermag ich nicht zu beurteilen. Die entzündete Haut juckte nach wenigen Behandlungen kaum noch und regenerierte sich schnell. Nach einigen Tag waren von roten Stellen und Pusteln nicht mehr viel zu erkennen. Weitere Anwendungen führten dann zu dem erhofften Ergebnis.--- Pro und Kontra ----+ einfach zu bedienen+ positive Wirkung auf die Haut+ angenehme Wärme bei der Anwendung+ automatische Abschaltung nach 15 Minuten- klobiges Design- Akkubetrieb wäre sinnvoll---- Fazit ----Ohne die Lumie Clear Behandlung ärgerte ich mich teilweise Tage wegen schmerzender und juckender Stellen, besonders nach ungesunder Ernährung und einer Rasur.Seitdem ich die Lichttherapie anwende, hat sich dieses absolut verbessert. So kann ich nun ungebremst und ohne Rücksicht auf Nachwirkungen Zucker und Fett essen. Das freut meinen Gaumen, ärgert aber meine Waage. Alles kann man nicht haben. Vielleicht gibt es ja bald Fettabsaugen für den Hausgebrauch... .Sehr freut mich natürlich die Tatsache, dass ich mich nun endlich gründlich rasieren kann, ohne lange mit den schmerzhaften und unschönen Pusteln zu leben.Ob nun das Licht, oder die Wärme bzw. eine Kombi aus beidem für die schnellere Heilung der Haut verantwortlich ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Aber bei mir scheint es zu funktionieren.
