I *wish* I would have taken photos of this when I got it because it’s gorgeous; I bought the white design. It’s classy and elegant, comes in a nice case and not too childish or mature in its design, so I think it makes a great gift all by itself. I scoured stores and the web to find a simple bound journal like this with no pre-designed calendars or lists and also not a “bullet” journal; just simple lined pages to make whatever you would like of it!I bought it as a Christmas gift for my grandmother who has started having trouble remembering details of her days or events and it upsets her as she’s seeing old friends or their spouses suffering with Alzheimer’s and it quite frankly terrifies her. I remember her writing in a journal when I was young, so I thought this was perfect for her to sit down at the end of the day and write about what she did or even old memories that she would like to look back on. I paired this with some elegant pens (also bought on Amazon!) and this was a total hit! I would recommend this over and over again!

The journal itself is attractive ; however, the description was completely misleading. First the supplier noted it was a gift "set"--a set indicating at least two items, bu there is only one item. And the "four parts of journal" include the outer box, the inner cardboard wrap and the inner box and the journal itself and nothing more. Basically, it is a small journal and that's it!! All the rest is just fluff-talking -nothing else but one small book with blank pages on one side and lined pages on the other. I intensely dislike all the verbosity describing the journal when an honest approach would have made me a happy customer.

This journal is absolutely the best one i have ever had, and that's saying something. I have been using journals for over 45 years and I am very particularly picky about the journal i use. Since my journal is a chronicle of my life, I like to use one that can be kept and stored for my family in the future, as a keepsake. This journal makes for a beatiful keepsake. The journal is packaged in a sleeve, then box that opens like a book, in a velvet frame. Georgous. I happily wound recommend to everyone who likes to write.

It is a very nice journal and I gave it as a gift. The reason for four stars and not five is that the box that it was shipped it was damaged. The box is what the gift is to be given it. That was a little disappointing. My friend thought it was lovely.

I ordered this item as a Christmas gift and was very pleased when I received it. The box and book itself are both beautifully designed and classy. The recipient was very happy with it! This was one of the best purchases I made this holiday season!

I love the journal, however I think your advertising leaves a bit to be desired. To count the cardboard sleeve, the journal box and the journal cover as individual pieces to make up the four pieces is a little deceiving. I mean why not call the cellophane wrapping a 5th. piece? By the way, the sleeve did not stop the journal box getting dented!

Packaging was nice and sturdy. Only one notebook/journal included, the picture shows the box, and a cardboard sleeve. The cover and pages all seem like good quality. Just what I expected, will make a nice gift. I would buy again.

Beautiful journal and the packaging is also very professional and classy. This was a gift for my girlfriend, and she loves it. A quote from her; "It's SO beautiful I'm almost afraid to write in it!" The shocking part is how inexpensive it was! I would have gladly paid twice the asking price, given the reaction I got from my girl. Whoever designed the journal and the packaging is a true artists.

My husband surprises me with this luxury notebook for our anniversary. I think the title gives him this good idea. :) I love all kinds of notebooks but this one looks so nice and elegant with his premium quality paper, stylish hard cover and beautiful box that I wish to fill up the pages only with happy memories

Beautifully packaged but only 1 book of lined paper in the box, not 2 as advertised!
