A good winter jacket
Not the lightest jacket on the market, but I found this jacket to be well fitting and wind blocking. Worn with the right undergarments for the season it is super comfy and is great value for money. If you buy your clothes from mountain warehouse then use your normal size to get a good fit with this coat. There's a wallet size chest pocket and a good size back pocket for gloves, phone and the like. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and delivery was very quick.

Great cycle jacket.
The zip on my previous jacket bust, so I took a punt on this little beauty. So far zero complaints from water and wind resistance in North of England winter weather on trips of up to 45mins.Can't really say I'd wear it for 'working out', but I imagine it would be equally weather proof for a bit of hiking/ jogging as it is for cycling, except there's no hood so if you like hoods, you'll not like that .The rear pocket is really roomy and a good idea, but it weirds me out there aren't the usual front pockets to put your hands in. The single front pocket easily accommodates a pixel phone and set of keys.A sleeve pocket for keys might have been useful, but isn't essential.Fit wise, it's a roomy XL, which is good for me and my boulder shoulders, but if you want figure hugging, maybe err towards a size down.

Good jacket that needs tweaking.
I'm 6'3" and 115KG and the XL is still a bit of a tent on me! But, if anything I'd like the front to be an inch or two longer. After wearing the jacket inside for 10 minutes I did feel a bit like a boil in the bag fish; there was quite a lot of humidity inside the jacket. There are side vents in each side of the jacket with zips, these is like to see relocated to under the armpit areas because they really don't help much with ventilation being so low down. This jacket doesn't come with a hood, something I was aware of when buying. However, this jacket needs a hood! It's fine to say that when you're cycling you'll be wearing a helmet but what do you do when you stop and is chucking it down? Why not have a detachable hood or something really thin that folds away, it wouldn't add much weight but it would make it infinitely more useful.Speaking of being useful, why not have two side pockets? This I find by far the most annoying part of this jacket's design. They can also act as extra vents. People always have something they need to store and not having side pockets is just pointless. The top pocket for a phone or card is useful. The material is pretty tough and I can report that it's very waterproof and windproof. The extra large jacket weighs 804g. The reflective material is incredibly effective in even the weakest of light.Overall, as with all Mountain Warehouse kit, this is a high quality garment that performs really well. With just a few tweaks it could perfect.

Quality
Good quality material with several useful pockets.I bought a large for my son in law who wears medium in jumpers. It fits perfectly and he's very happy with it.

A good buy but large
This is a well made piece of kit and great value for money at just over £30. The fit, as others have commented is very large. I am 43 inch chest 5ft 8in. A medium is slightly too long on the arms (not an issue as there are velcro fastenings on the wrists) and leaves space for a couple of layers underneath (enough for London winter riding). The garment is well thought out. The sleeves are lined with polyester underneath the breathable/waterproof outer tech fabric which makes sense as they get a lot of wear and are exposed, the chest area is mesh lined uner the outer tech layer which also makes sense. The pockets are readily accessible and easy to operate when on the bike. The zips are actually in the side vents not under the arm pits which makes sense for cycling. It is possible to cinch the vest at the bottom and around the neck. There is pleasing coverage of the lower back and a good cut around the shoulders. The orange is reassuringly bright. It has a DWP coating which is excellent when new and the instructions tell you how to refresh it but it these refresh coatings never seem as good as out of the factory. I have not used it in a heavy rainstorm yet but it survives the tap test and it is less sweaty than PVC. Waterproof/breathability measurements for the isodry fabric which they quote are considerably less than those for Goretex/Event so you get what you pay for here.

Good value for money
Bought this to replace worn out waterproof cycling coat. Seems good quality. I ordered large size which seems a little tighter than my previous jacket of the same size bit still fits.

Perfect.
Really impressed with this cycling jacket, I read the reviews about sizing and ordered the 2xl and this has got to be the first time in buying clothes that it fitted perfectly! I’m not athletic and a tad overweight; but enjoy my cycling on my ebike and with the traffic the way it is I wanted to be seen.No side pockets with is good, I didn’t want any bulging pockets, there’s a decent size rear pocket but don’t use it as I got a single pannier (Rockbros) on my rack so all essentials go in that with my phone and water bottle (small) in my crossbar bag. The jacket is windproof and breathable I assume waterproof as not tested that yet and hopefully wont as I’m a fairweather cyclist lol and plan my days out with a weather app. Went out on a sunny 9 degree day with a cold easterly wind and the jacket was definitely windproof. Velcro wrist straps, I think there’s a pocket inside but not been looking for pockets as my bulk is bad enough! lol.Very happy with my purchase from Mountain Warehouse, thank you.

Very nice
Runs true to size, don’t size up ( like I usually do with bike attire…always too snug), great quality a bit more then just a windbreaker, nice style…I like the burnt orange, the green is really nice too, originally ordered it in XLG ( only available in that size) and it was swimming in me…6’ 190lbs…

Good quality, great price
My husband needed a good cycling rain jacket for BC. This one keeps the rain out yet still breathes (has pit zips as well). It has good reflectors on it and the longer butt flap.Looks really good on him too :)

A fantastic jacket.
Normally I order a small, but took took the other reviewer's advice and ordered a size below and it fits great. With a long-sleeve shirt under the jacket I'll warm up soon enough out on my bike on a cold day. Get your "true" size if you want space to layer up underneath. A size down won't let you do that, but there's plenty of space otherwise for freedom of movement without getting baggy. Oh, the orange is radioactive so I'm sure I'll be seen miles away. Orange you glad you read this review?
