Disappointing. Based on the reviews I thought this would be a very good mounts for my standard iPhone 7. The form factor is great, and the magnet holds well, but the stand cannot keep the phone at an angle. As soon as you go over bumps, the amount will twist down word till the phone is pressing against the dashboard. Awarding it two stars because of the form factor, but I took three off because it won’t keep the phone in the correct position which is very frustrating. I don’t want my phone angled at my kneecap.

Love this product, bought one for my boyfriend as well. Price is right. Came in a “car vent phone mount” box (wrong), so the directions were wrong but the product itself was correct. (All you do is stick the magnet to your phone or phone case and the mount to selected spot on dashboard) *dont get a vent mount—they fall out and move around I have found* Easy to install, very strong grip-both the magnet to the mount and the mount to your dash board—definitely not falling off. Comes with 2 different size and shape, plain black magnets and phone protector films, extra dash adhesive and the mount. Mount is small (not clunky) and sleek/modern looking. Makes following directions, listening to music, whatever you want to do on your phone way easier/safer.

Magnet is very strong. Also, I've had this for months and even removed it from one spot and remounted it to another with no issues in regards to the adhesive holding, whatsoever.You have to clean the area you're going to mount the adhesive to with isopropyl alcohol. I have seen people complaining about it not sticking properly when they probably mounted it on a dirty dusty dash without cleaning it first.Like all adhesives it has to be clean and you have to let it cure for a little while. 5 to 10 minutes should be fine and then it should last a very long time. If it ever does wear out just super glue it.Fantastic product.

The magnet isn’t strong and won’t hold my iPhone 6 without sliding. When took it out of the box and put my iPhone on the magnet it immediately began to slide down, and that was without any movement or jostling from the car. I have another brand in my other car and the magnet is much stronger. I haven’t installed it yet and am debating on sending it back. By the time I pay for shipping it won’t really be worth it. Also the box says vent mount, I didn’t buy it for my vent vent but it definitely wouldn’t work if I had.

The unit would not stay on my dashboard. The tape used to stick to the dashboard came off only after a week of use. My phone was attached to the unit and it broke my phones screen when it became detached and the phone hit the shifter. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Not happy. I’m not sure if I received a defective one or this product is just bad. My phone does not stay in position. Before I know it my phone is facing down & I have to adjust it. While driving I have to constantly adjust the position back to what I put it as.The only good thing is it looks nice.Further the seller wants you to pay for return shipping. I want an exchange, this doesn’t work as described.For size reference I have iPhone 6Plus.

This mount is perfect and exactly what I was looking for! I’ve tried the air vent clip style of mounts but didn’t like how my phone blocks the air flow, so I needed something that could mount somewhere without being in the way. It’s small and discreet - I didn’t want one of those giant mounts that sit on the dash and look like they could hold a laptop! And the magnet on this is strong! I have an iPhone 8+ and it’s fairly heavy with its case and yet this mount holds it tightly. It’s perfect!

I've tried both the small circle and a larger rectangular magnets. Both have come unglued from my iPhone 8 Plus case while mounted causing my phone to fall. I even sanded down my case before applying the larger rectangular magnet thinking maybe the case was too slick, but same problem. Now my case is ruined and I need to find another mounting solution.
