I purchased this for doing my embroidery. It has a good solid stand, not given to tipping over. The glass is clear without distortions. The light is bright , yet not blinding. I removed a star because the cord is so short as to be nearly useless. Fortunately I had one that fit making it a non problem. Otherwise it's quite useful.

This is great for reading books without large print, and for giving myself a manicure, and for anything else where I need things to appear larger. It can sit on a desk, or lie flat to hold for reading. The only problem I found was that the batteries didn't seem to last very long. I will keep a date for the last time I replaced batteries. There is a cord with a plug so one can plug it in instead of using up batteries. However, cord is not long enough for where I would plug it in. I still give it an excellent review, and know I will use it often.

It's feel very very cheap,cheaper than anything I ever buy...always I feel it will break. And using batteries with it is very stupid, I use a Panasonic rechargeable batteries and never get it run more than 1 to 2 hours althoughi try to use a Duracell and get the same short running time. The AC adapter cable is very short... I will not ever buy anything from this cheap brand.

Excellent product. Sturdy and functional. Ups broke my mother's 45 year old blown glass collection. My older son is fixing each piece. The magnifying glass is perfect because it has the regular magnifying glass and a smaller one for more magnification. Glass is clear. Product can sit stable or be clipped on a table, workbenches or hard surface area. Great product! Great buy!

Good magnifying glass for smd soldering. Battery option works as designed, AC adapter doesn’t work properly. Overall, I am keeping the unit for it’s size and functionality. Uses 2-AA batteries. LEDs could be a bit brighter, but overall, they do an adequate job of lighting up my SMD PCBs.

Magnifying glass with LEDs seems to work ok with the "c" battery, but the plug in cord output charging end doe not fit into the base, either the hole is too small or the cord end is too big.......it does work fine with battery, so I won't waste my time sending it back.......if the cord worked I probably would give 4-5 stars.

Good to look at small parts - but not for reading. Note this is a 2X magnifier with a small 5X lens. Works just fine for me . Stands by itself and allow me to use both hands to work on small parts.

Just what I needed. Very helpful for seniors as your eye sight weakens. It is all plastic and felt a little flimsy when I removed it from the box, but it does the jobs I bought it for. So far I have used this to help me see to thread needles, repair jewelry, polish fingernails and read fine print. I use the battery option, which is much easier than plugging in the adapter.
