I always give the benefit of the doubt to things I buy from or through Amazon. This is my 3rd toilet light. My first light was Nice it's just that it used batteries that need to be changed every 45 -50-60 days. My second was a rechargeable but after a few months it has a lot of problems with brightness, colors changing, it only works halfway descent on Red and only after messing with it for a while. Charge doesn't hold as long as it used to. I am Very Gentle and easy with these lights.With THIS LIGHT, my biggest out of the box complaint is that the light is TOO DIM....Dimmer than than lowest dim setting on my other two lights. It is a 'whisper' of a light. I will test it to see if it performs well on charging, and activation and length of charge and update.Not Happy with how bright or should I say how dim this is.UPDATE...This light stays on even when you turn a regular light on...waste of battery power. I am sending it back for a refund. I RARELY send things back for refunds but this is so useless it's like throwing away money to keep it.

Okay, I bought this on a whim when buying a replacement toilet seat. Love it! I didn't know that I needed something like this until I actually started using it. Very nice that you can get up in the middle of the night to "take care of business", and the second you turn the corner, the light pops on. Would be great for families with young kids, the elderly, and just plain ol' folks who don't like fumbling around in the dark. I've charged it once so far using USB and it's still bright and reliable 1 1/2 months later.

I seem to only have to charge it once every 3-4 weeks. it cycles through colors and seems durable, even washing/wiping it down. Charges via MicroUSB. The brightness isn't that noticeable, except at nighttime, in bathrooms that don't have a lot of light by the toilet.

Bought this and it worked well for about a month. Now I charged it and nothing. Disappointed that it doesn't work.

I did like it. I had to charge it once and that was after about a month. Now it doesn't work at all. Guess it was good while it lasted which wasn't that long.

It worked for 3weeks . I tried to recharge it ,wouldn't charge or hold a charge .DO NOT BUY THIS ! Amazon should drop this item.

Dang, I love this thing. I bought 3 more for friends and relatives. Especially good for a mid-night bathroom visit. It lasts at least more than a month before you have to recharge the battery.

This worked for about 2 weeks, then kept getting more and more dim....now it seems it won't charge either. This is the second one of these I've purchased....and never again... Don't waste your money!
