Great Doorbell - BUT - “Read the Directiions Carefully” !!
At first I was very disappointed with this doorbell.BUT1. I checked out the YooSee software and concluded that it was first rate.AND2. As is typical of most people (a Last Resort, of course) ... I read the directions carefully.The most important thing that I found is that the unit must FIRST be configured by being connected directly to my PC via Ethernet.While connected the WiFi is then configured.After that everything functioned fine.(with the exception of having to play around with some of the software options to fine tune it.)The YooSee software is sound as is this unit.Overall, for the money this doorbell is a great deal.I believe some previous reviewers may have misunderstood some things.

Not the best, but better than nothing
If you are putting this close to your door, the camera won't capture the whole body of the person at your door. Also, the camera view from the sides doesn't cover a wide area, it's very limited. When someone pushes the bell it takes a very long time for your phone to actually ring and there is a lot of visual lagging as well as the sound. By the way I have the best Fiber optics internet speed.The posive that I can say about it is that is better than nothing and at least I'm able to see the front of my house at anytime. Installing the camera was easy and the app is also easy to install.

Good WiFi and looks nice.
This is my 4th WiFi doorbell/gate opener in the last three years. I live on a large lot where the gate is about 200' from the house. Unfortunately, other than power to the gate opener, there is no other wiring to the gate. So WiFi is the only option.The installation was simple as was the network setup. The WiFi is very strong but I do have an outdoor access point located about 4' from the device, thanks to the very weak signals from my previous doorbells (Door Bird and two GFIs).My gripe is that SZCSY (or 'YooSee' as that is the app and there is no other maker identification on the instructions or packaging) does not allow for push notifications or door unlock to 'guest' accounts connected to the device. Only the administrator has that functionality. And you can have only one admin for the device. My wife and daughter are pissed!I'm giving it four stars all the same. It looks nice, works very well for me and the setup and installation were a breeze.And...if you do an Amazon search for WiFi doorbells that have an opener feature and phone app, and scroll through them all, you'll see that pretty much everyone is disappointed.Four stars from me on my fourth try.

Great WiFi doorbell!
This is a great WiFi doorbell for the money. I’ve attached a pic of me that it took in night mode. As you can see, it’s pretty clear! The colors appear to be inverted - my top was black.My concerns are regarding the notifications. I have only had one successful notification since I installed it a month ago. The volume is pretty low so you have to really listen for it. I’m hoping they’ll get something similar to what Ring has, where you can hear the doorbell inside the home as well.If you buy this doorbell, you HAVE to read the instructions in order for it to work. Before you can set it up via WiFi or anything like that, you have to connect it with a wire to your computer; it won’t work otherwise. I got to the point where I wanted to throw it against a wall for not working... and then I read another review and that cleared it right up. It’s in small print somewhere in the instruction manual that you have to set it up on a wired connection first. Also, it’s not compatible with 5g WiFi. I set it up on our lower level WiFi, then switched my phone back to 5g.Lastly, this thing is large, like the size of a man’s hand.It does have a spot for a MicroSD card for playback purposes.All in all, I am satisfied with this camera for the money I paid for it. So far, so good.

Waste of money.
Don't waste your money. I installed the camera as per the instructions but when it came to linking it to my phone via wi-fi, it didn't work. It appears that this camera does not support a link to Wi-fi 5G system. I don't recall reading this in the description, so it came as a surprise. Now all I have is a fancy door bell.
