The media could not be loaded.  I got this camcorder for my parents. They have complained that their camera is old and the dry cell batteries are wlays flat so I thought we could add some technology and get them to film themselves - they arent getting any younger.This is so very easy to use and has lots of features should you want to go further into its capabilities. The batteries (2 included) only go in one way and so does the SD card (not included). Mine arrived almost fully charged (charging through a mini usb slot (cable supplied). Pull open the side flap and the camcorder turns on ready to go with a colur screen to show what the camera is looking at - and a press of your thumb starts/stops filming. Your index finger controls the zoom in/out. I doubt it could be any easier.Inside the flap are a few more controls like the day/night filming mode selector, the Mode button to make it into a camera not a camcorder and a menu button where you can adjust ..... Movie size / metering / white balance / date-time .... . Turning the corder off is as easy as closing the monitor flap.I have used this for a few days now and so can send it to my parents knowing that I can explain things over the phone. Its a great camcorder. So easy to use, the quality of the film in both 12mp camera or 1080p film is good. Its light and a good "grippy" size that fits into the plam of your hand and the soft case has a belt look so you can just pop it back in the case and have it handy to use.Output is easy. Either use the phono cables (supplied) to play this directly onto the TV or take the card out and pop it into an SD card slot.

I wanted to start capturing more videos of my young children and although you can use the camera on phones, I end up losing the files over time as I change phones. This way I knew I could save my memories straight onto a memory card and keep forever. I initially liked the sleek slim design of this camcorder, I didnt want anything bulky. There is a hand strap on one side making it easy to grip securely. I also wanted a camcorder that had a display LED screen, so I could playback and have a better review of what I am recording. This camcorder has all those features and much more. The picture quality is amazing at 24 mega pixels and the screen can rotate up to 70 degrees. There is a zooming feature at the top of the camcorder and even when zoomed in to the maximum range, the picture quality is still great. When researching the camcorder to buy I liked that this model LED fill light, which allows the correct balance and light exposure to be adjusted to achieve the best quality video. This feature works great and there is even built in night vision so you are able to captures videos at any time of day or location.Additionally this brand also comes with a creative picture effect, which allows certain attributes to be emphasised, provided the best quality. I have spent much time recording already and there is still plenty of memory remaining for many more hours of recording or pictures. This camcorder can also be placed on a tripod and comes with two batteries for long days out.Overall, made up with this camcorder! Works great, looks great and allows me to catch all the special moments. I would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  When I opened this, I thought it looked like a great product, the camcorder looked professional, it had a nice LCD screen and had good software - it's only when I looked at the videos on my computer that I realised this product is a sham.The video produced by this camera literally looks like something an old Nokia Flip Phone would take, I uploaded a video showing some of the footage I took. This video was taken on a bright, vibrant, sunny day. The grass was green, the water was blue and the sky was clear - but in the recordings the grass is brown, the water is grey and the sky was depressing. The photos I took looked like they had been taken from 1970s archive footage.You would think that a camcorder, a device that's sole purpose is to record video would produce good video, but my cheap three year old smartphone produces so much better video. Considering a camcorder has the advantage of having a larger sensor, a bigger lens and optical zoom it's really amazing they managed to make something so crap.The video isn't just poor quality, but it's choppy and not smooth. At 1080p the video is a pathetic 15fps, and at 720p just 30fps. This is not in line with what you would expect in 2017, at 1080p most cameras can record at 60fps and at 720p 60-120fps. The video is janky and not smooth at all.There is no stabilization, so as you can see by my video of me simply walking the video is swaying all over the place. Most camcorders have either software or hardware stabilization, but this has none.Not only this, the videos are saved to the SD Card in the old fashioned 'AVI' format. This meant that before putting my videos into my editing software I had to re-encode the videos as MP4 as the editing software didn't even support this old fashioned format.There is one plus, the camera comes with two batteries. If you are trying to fake some 1970s archive video footage this camera would probably do the job too!I'll be returning this camera to Amazon for a refund, I just thought I'd review it so that others aren't tricked by this Chinese rubbish.

AI bought this for my Husbands fishing trips so didn't want anything expensive, it does them job but instructions are gibbley gook, typical Chinese import. Its ok for what I bought it for and VERY cheap

For what it is, good little camera. Great for youtube.
