OMG - Just no.. DO NOT BUY! Read full, honest review from a boxing student (with trainer input).
These gloves are terrible.. pathetic! Worthless if you actually intend to do any boxing. They have ZERO padding in them (it's a super soft squishy foam little more than 1/8" thick) and they offer ABSOLUTELY NO *NO* wrist support! Do not be fooled by the long strap in the photo - it is worthless, just for show. Compare this item to a pair of actual boxing gloves; the strap on this one just wraps around itself below the bend in your wrist. I put one of these gloves on and was able to get the exact same full range of movement/bend in my wrist as I could without the glove on. No difference. Then I put my trainer's gloves on (which are a known brand) and couldn't get anywhere near the same amount of movement in my wrist because they were doing the job they were meant for. I could actually see my knuckles through the flimsy excuse for pads when I made a fist, which should tell you something. These Xinluying gloves are better suited for sopping up a puddle of blood than they are for boxing/MMA training. It's clear to me that the people giving this product 5-star reviews haven't learned to make a fist, because if they were actually training they'd be singing another tune. I would sooner use my motorcycle gloves for boxing than I would use these. It's a shame companies are allowed to market products like this when they can't measure up. The old adage holds true this time; "you buy cheap, you buy twice". Please do not waste your time and money with these. Spend an extra $20 and get a real pair of reputable boxing gloves. Your hands/wrists are worth more than $18.

Great for kickboxing class
I use these for my 45 minute kickboxing class; they worked great! I was able to punch hard at the bag without knuckle issues/blisters at all. I'm 5'7" and got a medium; they fit, but are a tiny bit snug. I wish I went up to the large, but oh well. The mediums will work fine (just hard to get off when I'm sweaty after my workout!).

Thumb ripped after being used 6 times?
This thing is supportive without feeling like your whole hand is encased in a pillow. It offers freedom of movement without losing the wrist support. I like the look and color too. The black looks almost like carbon fiber. Also if you have a small hand, which I do, they come in XXS!!! Yay!!!Update: The thumb is ripped :-( It's only been two weeks and I only used it twice a week for an hour each. So a total of 6 times at most.... I never even washed it.

Great workout glove!
My GF loved these! Shes small so these fit to size. Padded on the inside and out so works for kick boxing classes as well as defends the hadns from working with weights. If used vigorously every day only expect a 9 month shelf life. But overall great deal for the money!!

These are basic hand protection.
These were for my 14 yr old son to mess around with punching a heavy bag. He is not a pro, these were just for everyday work outs. He loves them. They are exactly what he wanted. He is around 5' 2", and slim. We got small, but med. would have worked too. The padding on them is exactly where it is needed, no extra.

Great bag gloves!
When I first tried these gloves on I was concerned I may have ordered the wrong size. I followed the instructions on the site and double checked. After about a dozen uses these fit perfectly. I have a bad tendon on my right hand and the straps give me good support when I strike. It wont help you if you use poor form and hit incorrectly but they are forgiving in normal use. I like them!

Not much padding but nice for price
I would probably say order a size up. My husband got a large and although they fit, I’m sure the XL would have been better. Also, there is not much padding in these gloves. My husband said that as soon as he tried them on.

Not enough padding for use with punching bags as advertised
The fit was fine and I liked the wrist reinforcement, but the padding was quite inadequate for use with the gym's punching bag. Although not an intended use, the palm ridge I guess intended for protecting the fingers behind the knuckles, makes using them as weight lifting gloves unlikely.
