HONEYSEW 3-Spool Thread Stand for All Industrial and Domestic Sewing Machine Overlock Cone Stand

I used this stand for parts to make another for my serger. It couldn’t get the stand to stay put without bolting it to my sewing table. I took it apart and used elements to repair/customize a broken thread stand on a used serger I purchased. Works great but is not freestanding as I use it because I didn’t want to drill holes for bolts in my sewing table.

I read reviews before I bought this and so was aware of what I was getting.As a stand it does the job. Mostly. It is definitely set up for a 4th platform (I really think you could buy 2 and have a 4 spool and a 2 spool stand)On nut to hold the spool poles was not threaded and so totally useless! So I currently have it set up as a 2 spool stand and it is actually well balanced that way.Had no instructions for assembly but was pretty easy to figure out.Overall for the price is isn't horrible.Pros:Holds multiple sizes of spoolsAllows for easy swapping of colors.Not super expensiveCons:Not stable with 3 platformsHad an unusable partNo instructions

I gave it only 3 stars because, I received an extra screw but MISSING a nut for one of the thread holders. So, one of the metal pins is not attached. I don't want to return it for the one missing piece but now, because there is no parts list (or assembly instructions) included, I don't know the size or part number of the nut to make a claim. Now I need to find a method to have it sent to me.ALSO, regardless of the ease of assembly, there were no printed instructions. And when just looking at the base, you would think that you are missing a 4th thread holder even though I know I ordered a 3 thread holder. Instructions should have been standard and common sense inclusion.

It works. But it is certainly not stable without mounting to the table. Adding fishing weights in the base helps a lot. For embroidery work it keeps my thread handy - good enough. It’s also good for bobbin loading without having to unthread the machine.It’d be five stars if the base were heavier.

It is a little lightweight. Got around that by my husband screwing it onto 2 pieces of unistrut which is metal bars with holes in them. Adds just enough weight to stabilize it. Can also be screwed on to a small piece of wood that can be clamped to your table.

It's nice and sturdy. I just don't like the color of it. Army green

I was really excited about this thread stand and thought it'd be perfect. However, it will not stay in one place and tips over almost immediately, regardless of the cone size of thread. I tried using foam tape and glue dots on the bottom to no avail. It appears to be sturdy until in use. I tried it on multiple surfaces with the same results. Very disappointed.

Matériel un peu bas de gamme, le plastique qui tient les bobines n’est même pas de couleur égale.Par contre, j’apprécie le fait que le métal qui tient les fils est extensible donc il est plus facile à ranger.

Easy to assemble but need's to be attached to a solid surface it doe snot stand on its own. The bottom is too light but if attached to a table would be fine

I like the idea of this product but it didn't come with all the parts needed to put it together, if you buy it make sure you you are handy and can jimmy something up for it.

Very unstable unless you screw it down. Will most likely request a return and find something else.
