Best IR repeater I have ever used. It's a definite buy !
The transmitter battery does not last long so plug it in. I love this repeater, I use it for my pellet stove that is located in the basement. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that needs to control something in another room.

May not work for you. Good price but questions power.
Very inconsistent works one day next day does not work. Receiver seems to eat batteries. Tried with USB power still could not get it to work one day after was working in same position. Weird ... Maybe it's my house but receiver only like 30 ft away so I don't get it?

Works as expected but does go through batteries.
Transmitter/receiver works as expected. Have mine about 10ft apart through a wall. I have not tested the range. Reason for the 4 stars is that it goes through batteries pretty fast. Ending up plugging in both to avoid having to change them out repeatedly.

Works well with cable box in closet
came with absolutely no instructions. When it didn't initially work I had to look up a video to find out the receiver needs to be directly over the LED on the box. Decent product for the money, but should come with instructions on how to set it up.

I was very disappointed with this product
I couldn’t get this to work so I sent it back. Ended up just using a wired extender. I was very disappointed with this product.

Unreliable
No instructions - one is labelled TX (transmitter) and one labelled RX (receiver). I assumed that the receiver should be in sight of the remote control, and the transmitter should be near the device I want to control, but that is not the case. The transmitter is the one you point the remote control at.When they work, they're great, but they are simply too intermittent. I use usb power supplies, so it's not a problem with low batteries. Navigating menus is slow and frustrating as this unit misses button presses. Sometimes it takes so long to successfully send a button press that the menu times out.I'm going to replace them with something else, which is a shame as these were a great price.

Does what it says
Product is pretty easy to install but took a bit time to place at optimal position in order for remote to work.Remote now works but with a slight delay so have to be patient in order to avoid pressing the button twice.Overall I am pleased thay I can keep my cabinet containing sky box closed.

Not receiving signal between the 2 TV
Received the item but can't connect it to my TV

Doesn't live up to claims
No manual. Signal gave out after short distance and unable to cope with doors.

Units failed to work reliably. OK one time, no response the next. Waste of time.
