Excellent first impression - we'll see how they work for the Long Haul
The first thing you notice is the "presentation" - these shaded arrive in a nice printed box, and in a zippered case inside the box. The second thing you notice is the "heft" - since the frames are metallic, they've got some weight to them. (Some would contend that super-lightweight is the way to go in eyewear, since it's less noticeable... but if they turn out to be rugged, it's probably OK.) They seem to be adequate in every way. The lifetime guarantee on frame/lens breakage is a good feature; it seems like I break most of my glasses at some point. I hope the lenses are scratch-resistant.I intend to return and update this review several months from now... to report on their long-term durability and "wearer impressions" after hours of looking through them.UPDATE July 2019: Recently one of the lenses began dropping out of the frame; upon inspection, I discovered that a tiny screw was missing. I contacted PAERDE to ask for some help (lifetime warranty, after all)… they ended up sending me a brand-new pair. (I probably could've replaced the screw, had one been available. But I'll take the new shades, too.) I'm impressed by the warranty coverage.I'd also like to comment about the polarized lenses... they are pretty nice for most situations, but I've discovered that the polarization interferes with viewing an LCD-type screen (phone, GPS receiver, etc.) That might be a consideration when you're making a purchasing decision. For me, the glasses sit far enough away from my face that I can peer underneath, if I need to take a glance at a screen from time to time.

Fragile - lenses pop out too easy.
At first, I liked the sunglasses. They felt well made and fit nicely right "out of the box." They have good coverage and no gaps by the nose or peripheral field of vision. They come with a nice hard case, microfiber cleaning sleeve, and repair tools (which you'll need). However, after just a few days of wearing them one of the lenses popped out when I put them on. I didn't stress them more than any other sunglasses I have worn. There really isn't much holding the lenses in. No frame on the bottom and tiny screw pressure on top. It just seems like there is not enough holding the lenses in. Now, the more I wear them the easier it seems the lenses pop out.And now the rubber ear pieces slide off too. They go back on easy enough, but is this something you should have to do in order to wear your sunglasses? I don't think so.As much as I wish I could recommend them for how they fit and feel when wearing them, I can't because of the problems mentioned.

Disappointed to large for women!
Loved shape, but IThought it was unisex and I’m a woman and they are to large for my face. I’ll keep them and give them as a gift to a man.

Great fit
I bought these for my husband and he loves them because they not only look sharp, and keep the sun outta his eyes. They also fit his face. We have a hard time finding glasses that stay on his face because of his nose. The nose piece on these was able to be adjusted by carefully pinching it together, and now they are solid on his face. Not to mention the case is perfect for him, because he works in construction and the case is really durable.

GREAT FOR SPORTS
Bought these for my husband, who plays a lot of softball. He loves them, he said” they’re the best “. He’s not taking them off and on like he did with others!

Visual field is very skewed
DO NOT BUY!!!! If I could return these, I would! The visual field is extremely blurred and no one could wear very long without developing a headache. I am just outside the 30 day return window and not happy about this. Terrible product!

Great style and great fit (even if you've got a big nose bridge like me)
