I have a very damp finished basement and this dehumidifier dries the entire 1500 ft.². It is energy efficient and I barely notice any difference in my electric bill with it running nearly nonstop. The clothes drying setting is fantastic as it really moves the air around to dry clothes quickly. The low speed is very quiet and the high speed is not too loud so that it interferes with conversation. I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it.A note on their Customer Service-they deserve 10 stars . Eght months after purchasing mine it stopped working. I contacted Customer Service and they responded within 24 hours like they said they would on their warranty and after sending a description of the problem and a couple pictures they cheerfully sent me out a brand new unit with a brand new warranty starting all over. They kept in contact through the entire process and made sure that I was totally satisfied with the replacement. This is the best Customer Service I have ever dealt with and the way they responded to the problem tells you how good their product is and that they stand behind it like they say. They did not try to wiggle out of the warranty or send out a refurbished unit to replace it, but a brand new unit. Definitely a company you can trust.

We have a crawlspace in our house that we use for storage. We keep a dehumidifier running continuously all year to keep the humidity around 50% to prevent rusting of our metal items and dampness and mildew from forming. I have used many different manufacturers of dehumidifiers over the years and typically get about 2-4 years before the compressor finally fails. This failure always seems to happen outside the manufacturer’s warranty and I have to just buy another unit.In October, 2024 I decided to purchase the Aeocky 80 pint 4500 sqft based on their ratings and commitment to their 3 yr unit and 5 yr compressor warranty. The unit was set on the continuous setting and ran 24/7 in our crawlspace. For 8 months, the unit kept the humidity in the 48-52% range with no problems. In June, 2025, the unit stopped working properly and the humidity could only be maintained in the 70-75% range, little moisture was being removed from the air and ice was forming on the evaporator fins. I contacted Aeocky customer service to see what I could do about the non-working dehumidifier.Aeocky responded to my email the very next day. They asked me several questions about how the unit was operating, crawlspace conditions and for photos to help identify the problem and provide a solution. They decided that the compressor was not working properly and would replace the unit right away. 4 days after contacting Aeocky, they agreed that there was a product failure and sent me a new replacement unit. I received the new unit on June 13th and it is up and running with no problems.I must say that I was sceptical about their warranty protection and expected to be own my own to purchase another unit. They blew me away with their customer service, quick responses and commitment to fix the problem. I feel very comfortable that the unit is high quality and will perform as expected. It is so nice to know that if a problem does occur, the company will stand behind it! It is hard to find companies like this any more.

🌟I didn't know before buying that using a compressor Dehumidifier with Portable AC's in hot, high humidity summertime locations wouldn't be successful. I've learned through a lot of sweat that the products work against each other. This dehumidifier's an impressive product & is unbelievably quiet; unfortunately, the dehumidification process produces so much heat that it raises the temperature of our open floor plan house by ~5°. This is very significant since we're running this unit to reduce Southeastern US Summer indoor humidity levels from over 70% to 50% to protect our structure & belongings. Because our HVAC units are in litigation & our HOA doesn't allow window units, we're temporarily using this dehumidifier with two large, high quality Portable AC's in bedrooms. Our indoor humidity's down to 50%, which is excellent, but my living room's temps increased to 91°! Even running 24/7, our Portable AC's can't get our upstairs bedroom below 84°. Although our situation's unique, be aware that if you live in a warm, high humidity area, no matter how excellent, quiet, well-made these dehumidifiers are, your AC will work quite a bit harder due to the burden of the dehumidifier's hot exhaust air. For those in other environments, I highly recommend.

This is the first unit [of two] that I've purchased in the last 7 months. Not highest rating, but close... appearance, quality, operation, noise level, warranty, all excellent... capacity and 'longevity', not so much... customer support makes-up for the shortfall.The unit is well made, much quieter than most others, and simple to operate. Capacity, however, is 'nowhere' close to the claim of 4500sf, more like 1000, or less. My 2nd-floor apartment is 600 square feet, very well insulated, and this unit just keeps up with maintaining humidity levels 45-50%. As for 'longevity', the unit started 'freezing-up' on the bottom third of the evaporator coil [indication of refrigerant loss] and displaying 'HS" error codes within 6 months... similar 'longevity' issues seem to be common with all portable dehumidifiers I, and others, have owned. As for customer support, I was more than pleasantly surprised... it's always a pain to have to 'deal with problems', but upon documenting the issues, support was extremely responsive and sent-out a new, unopened, replacement unit immediately.The replacement unit just arrived and is operating well so far, I will 'update' on the unit [as well as the second unit I purchased more recently] after some working time.
