A couple cons and a MASSIVE Pro
I'm gonna start with the negatives cause they're not a big deal for me at least. The motors are noisy (quiet at some speeds and noisy at others. You'll end up dialing in the speed that the lights flicker and move based on that more than the visuals which is sad. No power brick in box just usbc cable. So why did I give it 5 stars? I've bought upwards of 20 projectors many "galaxy" many "aurora" I have a whole collection of auroras and this is BY FAR the best aurora borealis effect and it's not even close. If you've been trying to get a legitimate aurora look. Just get this one.

Beautiful, easy, customizable
I looked at the reviews of several of these lights. I was convinced to buy this one when it went on sale, because it had some features others didn’t, like adjustable star lights and a tilting mount to allow for directing the lights where you want. The light pattern is beautiful and mesmerizing. I have it near my bed aimed at the ceiling. It’s nice for winding down. For those who read reviews closely, I wanted to chime in on drawbacks that others said.1) It seems silly to say that the light pattern moves too quickly or that the light isn’t bright enough, because downloading the app allows you to change the relative brightness and speed of movement for both the stars and the aurora individually as well as the overall brightness. When I first turned it on, I thought the movement and light level were perfect, but that’s a matter of taste.2) The “loud” whirring sound is really not that loud. You would have to prefer absolute silence (which is usually impossible to achieve) for this to be loud. It’s noticeable, but seemed very light compared to what some of the reviews suggested. Some drawbacks:1) it’s original price of about $80 seemed too much to me, especially since it didn’t have its own power block. But for the quality and variety of options, the sale price of $55 is worth it to me. And I happened to have a pack of USB power blocks I already bought that worked great.2) If you’re interested in the white noise selection, personally I only like one of them. Some of this is taste. I don’t prefer bird sounds as white noise or wind chimes. But the kinds I do usually like (wind, water) were not good sound quality. The one titled “drizzle” is the only one I’d probably use and maybe one of the soothing music sounds.3) It would be nice if the stars covered more of the overall pattern and weren’t so compact. However, I do really like that the stars move, and the app control is really easy and a nice feature, especially since I plan to use this as I am laying in bed before sleep. It basically makes your phone a remote control.Overall, I’m really happy with this, and I even was thinking of people I wanted to give this to, so long as the sale continues.

Space theme room fav!
The light itself if perfect for out space living boys, the sounds definitely could use some work. But Govee as a whole is a family favorite!

Great for those that have troubles falling asleep!
I love this projector. It's perfect for my bedroom and setting a nightly mood to relax. I have insomnia and this helps me relax while I'm waiting to fall asleep

Fun and bright with some annoyances
I bought this as a night light for my kid and it's been a hit! Beautiful colors and fun motions to help the kiddo fall asleep. I also love that I am able to turn off the stars since that is a laser and didn't want that on in the kids room. Now I'm not the biggest fan of this device though for two main reasons. The first is the color chooser doesn't seem to do a ton depending on color type. What I mean is I have chosen reds and oranges but somehow there is still a sliver of green and light blue that sneak in. It's not the end of the world but I'm trying to stay away from "blue light" sources and this isn't helping. The second and most annoying to me personally is the matter support. You have to set it up right when you first turn it on otherwise it will not work with matter... after I reset it I was then able to set up matter but then my network did an update and rebooted and the Govee star light would not reconnect to my matter network thus making my Homekit automations broken... I don't want to reset it again losing my scenes just to get it to work with matter again.Kid loves it though so I deal with it.

Stars are only green
Excellent, wish you could change the stars from green to other colors thought

Excellent northern lights projector
Looks great, light is strong enough to be barely visible in the daytime which was better than expected. The best part it's a Govee product and has the app integration. (Customize color, style, speed and effects) and also I have it running on a timer so it's programmed to automatically start and stop on my schedule. I have a small water fountain for white noise so the projector is quiet for me. Adds a really nice effect on the walls at night and it's just like the pictures you see in Iceland. Super nice.

Not impressed. Govee app is terrible.
I was really hopeful for these. But they're really no better than the cheapest "star projector" you can find on Amazon. The "music" function is the lamest, most useless and ridiculous thing. This is probably fine if you want to put it in your 3yo's bedroom, but I was hoping to use two of them in my large living room for holiday decoration. None of the Govee scenes are what they say they are, and the motor sounds from the motion lights are really loud. But the really bad thing about ALL of Govee's products is their app. I own about 20 Govee products, and each time I'm hopeful "this one" will be the one that really shines. It's NEVER the case. Can't group like devices and control them without being in Bluetooth range, despite being on Wifi. Like I said, "Scenes" are never what they say they are. As an example, if you choose "candy cane" with these projectors, you get about the same thing you get with "ghost" - no reds or whites, just waves of different colors that change direction. The worst part is Govee now wants MONEY to be parts of their "Savvy User Center" which allows you to do things that other products like Lumary do natively in Tuya App. Govee has lost me as a customer.
