I ordered this as a wedding gift, and it arrived in one day--thank goodness--because of a last-minute purchase. Thank you, seller, for using UPS! The product is very well made. The kit came with a glass, heart-shaped vessel that feels heavy and thick. It has a glass stopper with what appears to be a silicone seal that fits snug into the vessel. The vase fits into a sturdy metal holder. This would look great displayed in the newlyweds' home. The kit came with two containers of sand, in this case, black and white. I read some of the reviews about the sand containers being hard to open, so I checked this out ahead of the ceremony, and it was true. They were a challenge. I opened the entire package, and I was glad I did. Some of the dust from the sand was in the package, and the vessel needed cleaning, which you would probably do anyway ahead of a wedding. The sand containers are made of tough plastic, and the problem is that grains of sand can get trapped in the threads of the lids, which makes them hard to open. I opened them using a rubber kitchen jar gripper. I then cleaned the lids and threads very thoroughly before replacing the caps. This seemed to help. I then tightened them back. I'll check them again before the ceremony just to make sure they can be opened easily. I think you'd want to do this to avoid an unpleasant struggle during your wedding. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I know the bride and groom will love it, and it will add to the beauty of their ceremony.

A lovely, sturdy bottle that survived a ten hour car trip full of sand! We used our bottle as part of a Celtic handfasting that my husband and I did for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the ceremony in Panama City Beach so we incorporated some beach sand and shells that we found with the colored sand. We wanted to use our wedding colors of purple and teal so I combined the blue and green that came with the jar and purchased purple. We are very pleased with the purchase and would not hesitate to recommend!

Purchased this for our wedding and it fit the bill. The sand leaked a bit in the package but there was plenty for the ceremony. We poured without the funnel (not recommended!) so it was a bit messy. There’s a LOT of sand so it took probably 3 minutes to do (a bit awkward during a wedding ceremony with everyone watching!). It’s nice to look at and we just need to find a way to make sure the sand doesn’t settle anymore so we can still see the layering.

What I love about this item is that it was quickly delivered and better than expected! The monogram lettering shows up nicely with the sand we chose to add. My DIL asked if there was something for our son and her wedding we'd like to see and I suggested a unity candle. The wedding was outside, so we opted for a sand vase. I chose 4 colors of sand, 1 for the groom's parents, 1 for the bride's parents and one each for the bride and groom: Pink, grey, black and white. I bought glass jars with cork lids at Hobby Lobby. The vase comes with a funnel, but the wedding planner forgot to put it on the table for us, so while the 6 of us gathered around for the unity moment, we were giggling at our struggle to get the sand into the vase. Not to worry as our cupped hands did beautifully and we have a special memory of that amazing day!

This was a nice set. It’s exactly as pictured, but the plastic lids are so hard to remove. I haven’t successfully gotten it off yet, but that’s frustrating. The container the sand is in was filled up so high that twisting it was impossible. Maybe a different means of sealing the jar would help.Update: I finally got them off. It took longer for the first top, but the second one took two minutes. I had to use scissors to pry up the cap and release the sand. The lids are cut up a bit, so I put them in plastic bags.

I loved the product.Pros:It was perfect for our wedding with kids,my husband and I included our 5 children in the unity sand part of the ceremony. I was so pleased with how it turned out. It came with a funnel so that was convenient. The M was the perfect touch.Cons: I was under the impression it was coming with two colors of sand and when it arrived THE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING I had to rush out and pick up more sand. Also the funnel was so small it took about 10-15 minutes to fill it entirely.

Used for my October wedding 2020. This was perfect. Right size and shape and has a stand. Was packaged well. Could use a bigger funnel sound comes out really slow. Comes with 2 containers of sand of your color choosing. This item was best priced in comparison. Kept finding kits at 60$+ before landing this one

This is going to be a beautiful addition to my daughter’s wedding ceremony. The size is perfect. The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to change the packaging description. It says sand NOT included on the box, but it does include sand.

Really love the glass heart and the stand, really good quality and me and my husband will keep it forever. Only thing i think that could be better is the funnel it was pretty small to work with and it took a while to fill the vase during the ceremony.
