Exceptional product, exactly what I needed and wanted, a factory replacement from third party. This unit works entirely as the original, and the wall adapter is interchangeable with the short plug on wall style or extension cord provided with the original Apple power driver.

It's getting two stars (instead of one) because it's still working -- barely -- for who knows how much longer. It worked great for several weeks, no issues other than that the cord is much shorter than the standard macbook charger, which truly is irritating and makes the laptop difficult to charge.Then, it has started sparking every time I plug it into a standard outlet. I have to jiggle it around, take it apart and put it back together, to get it to connect well enough to charge. I have a feeling that before too long, jiggling it around is going to stop working and the charger simply won't work anymore. Seems like a connectivity issue within the charger, or, something is up with it being able to take the electricity. It also gets REALLY hot.If anyone reading this knows a better brand that they're happy with, please let me know.

Have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it works perfectly well. Gd willing it should last me for at least a year!

While my Apple MacBook Air has proven to be very durable and is now around 6 years old and working like new, unfortunately the chargers seem to wear out in the wires after about 2 years. Instead of spending a lot for an Apple brand charger, I decided to try one of the compatible ones on Amazon, and I was not disappointed.I have used this charger for about 3 months now and so far it has charged my laptop perfectly with no problems. The end connector fits just like the original. The charger does not overheat. I have moved the charger frequently around my home as well as traveled with it, and it has not suffered any stress or fraying of the wires. I'm happy to have found an affordable solution for replacing my laptop charger.

It cost me too much for buying a cheap charger.After charging a few times, my 2013 macbook air got damaged on the mother board. It was a hardware problem with the temperature sensor and I highly suspect it was triggered by this unofficial charger. The charger was very hot. Then the computer could not run any programs and became extremely slow because of the sensor problem. I have to buy a new computer and transfer all my documents because this computer was the most important work station for my PhD research and I have everything on it.Now I only use this charger for my broken computer, since it still can browse websites and play online videos but definitely not run any heavy programs for work any more.Next time, if I have similar problem with charger, I will definitely buy an official one.
