That means these have more Whey Protein Powder in them than anything else. And I am fine with them…WHY Am I Fine With These?I can eat cheese, but I cannot digest cow milk, or anything with Calcium Caseinate (Concentrated Milk Protein Powder). Most Protein Bars have the dreaded Calcium Caseinate. But these have mostly Whey Protein and I have found over the years that I am pretty much fine with Whey Protein. Although I now have Organic Vegan Protein Powder in Almond Milk or Oat Milk every day, which is delicious and digests quickly and easily… I could live on Whey Protein Powder in Almond Milk or Oat Milk (and vegetables) for a few weeks, and probably be OK.What About The Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder?Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder normally does bother my stomach, and there is some in these, but it’s much lower on the list, and only in the coating, so I was fine after eating these.How Great Do They Taste?Well, to be honest, not as good as a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, or Dark Chocolate Truffle… But they are very good.The ValueThey seem high, but it is HARD to find a better bar for less money. Orgain makes a bar with all Vegan ingredients, but they have HALF the protein. Although 12 bars are HALF this amount. So that would be OK.

Overall I am really enjoying these protein bars. The Monster Cookie Crunch has to be my favorite overall because of the taste and the contrast in textures. It gives you a satisfying mouth feel, without any strange after taste. The Cookies and Cream and S'mores was also really good. I will admit I have never been a big fan of s'mores because of the marshmallow, though this one had all of the flavor without that gooiness to it.My biggest ding, and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars, is that each bar is 290 calories, and is extremely high in carbohydrates which it due to the 20G of added sugars (40% of your recommended daily intake). This puts it in the top range compared to other competitive products. Now, if you are doing heavy workouts with carb loading, it isn't an issue. If you are looking for something light as part of a healthy low carb and sugar diet then you probably will find yourself looking at other options.For myself, I have reserved these for my power workout days, and use other products on my off days. Does make a good balance that way.

These are Anabar 12 pack of protein-packed candy bars in three amazing flavor combinations! I chose the Crunch & Crumble pack. The three flavors in this package are "Monster Cookie Crunch", "Milk Chocolate Campfire S'Mores", and "White Chocolate Cookies & Cream". My pictures I took in order of what flavors I have listed. I weighed the bars, and they are a large 2.39 oz. size. You are seeing the whole package pictures, front and back, so that you can know the nutritional label. Each bar has the same for calories at 290 calories each. Each bar also comes in with 20 grams of protein.I took a pic of each bar whole, then cut them in thirds so you can see the insides. I have now tasted all 3 of these and I can say, "WOW"! They are super tasty!They do contain around 20 grams of added sugar, though they state they do not contain sugar alcohols or fillers.I choose to each these as a high protein treat and am eating them sparingly in thirds. ALL these flavors are unique and delicious, but if I had to pick one favorite, it would be the Monster Cookie Crunch!Recommend them as a high protein treat!

I got the guilty pleasure pack.These are basically candy bar wrapped protein bars. The protein center is chewy with a little crunch. The outside is very soft, and melts quickly.White chocolate cinnamon swirl crunch has that cinnamon cereal taste with some peanut butter flavor.The Death by peanut butter is heavy peanut butter flavor.Triple chocolate wasted is a very soft chocolate outer with chocolate sprinkles.The box had a sticker with expiration date. Each bar was also stamped with an expiration date. The date varied by each type. Box: 04-17-2026, White Choc: 12/23/25, Peanut: 03/27/26, Choc: 04/17/26. So some have about 6 months, while others are good for 10-11 months from when I received them.

I tried this Anabar protein bar and they taste good. If you are tired of chalky textures or weird aftertastes, this is your upgrade. The Guilty Pleasure Pack lives up to its name, each bar feels like a cheat meal, but with 20 grams of protein and no sugar alcohols, I don’t feel guilty at all. The flavors are spot on, think candy bar levels of indulgence, but with clean macros. Personal favorites? The Chocolate are out of this world. What really stands out is the texture, soft, chewy, and coated in real chocolate. It’s a huge step up from the dense, dry bars I used to suffer through. And no weird artificial aftertaste, which is a big plus. Perfect for a post-workout refuel, mid-day snack, or even dessert. Just be warned, they’re really addictive. I have to stop myself from eating two in one go.Bottom line, If you're serious about taste and nutrition, Anabar is 100% worth the try. Protein bars have officially entered their delicious era.
