Excact replacement for Viking, works perfect
Both of the stoves old oven ignitors were still glowing but the right bank on my wifes Viking stove (model VGI3656BSS the 6 burner gas job) didn't ignite. I replaced the right one only with this Supco model and the intensity of the new glow was close to double the brightness of the one on the left that didn't replace. Furthermore, when I turned it on, there was much more gas flame on the new one! That told me that the left ignitor would soon need replacing as well. Regardless, took the oven right up to 500 degrees, sonthing we hadn't seen for years (wife would fire the broiler and get it up to temp). With a short phillips screwdriver, you basically take the old one off, screw this on in it's place, pop first one lead off, put the new one on, other lead off, new one on. Woof! (the sound of the oven firing up)

Don't wait long for it to light
My stoves griddle was taking almost a minute to light. Unacceptable, when there are pancakes wanted. These get weak, before they outright fail. So I replaced. The part was ready to go. But the stoves construction, just to access the connection on the valve is what took the time. But once the connections were made and the work tested. Thing went smooth.REMEMBER to turn off the power. These are 120V powered and where you are working is not always easy to avoid the other terminal.

2 1/2 month and already not working
This is a review for Supco SGR4001 Igniter for Stove Range, Replaces Viking PB04001. I installed these igniters 2 1/2 months ago. They worked perfectly until now. The past couple days the oven keeps going out after a few minutes just like the old ones that I replaced. The old OEM ones had lasted for several years, but apparently viking is no longer making them. I have been baking my dinner for over an hour and it is barely warm. I don't know where to find a reliable igniter. If you can reply to these reviews, let me know if you have found one. UPDATE: This product has a one year warranty. First amazon said I have to go to the manufacturer. But the manufacturer says you have to go through the seller. the seller says you have to go through amazon. Now that is the definition of getting the run around. It took a phone call to amazon. Because of the 1 year warranty, amazon is giving me my money back even though it is past the 30 day return.

Works fine
I now feel bad about this review I wrote a year ago when I gave the product 3 stars. I had to replace the igniters again because I had bad burners (that I now know I should have replaced a year ago). These igniters do fit fine -- it was my mistake to say they didn't fit. It's simply necessary (and easy) to temporarily remove the burners when installing new igniters.==== original review 2019 ==== >>>>Even though Viking's parts list for my Viking VGIC365 (mfg in 2000) shows that it uses only PB04001 igniters, the igniter for the broiler is a different size than the two igniters used by the oven. The Supco igniter (shown in photo) matched the size of my broiler igniter but was too big to replace either of the two smaller oven igniters (also shown in photo). The Supco igniter is simply too big to fit . (Maybe I should be rating Viking down for poor documentation rather than Supco, but I don't understand the claim that this is "used on all Viking...bake or broil".)

Perfect fit Viking Stove
Easy to do with YouTube support available. Symptoms are uneven heat and slow warming in oven. Replace in pairs!!

Fixed my Viking Oven
The oven in my Viking range couldn't maintain temperature because only one oven burner was working. I replaced both igniters, and my oven works properly again. They are far less expensive than the Viking OEM igniters but work just as well.As a couple of reviews note, these were slightly larger than the OEM ones, but I had no problem installing them. The gas pipes on my range won't pull out or push in through the opening below the oven with these new ignitors attached, but it wasn't hard to unscrew the pipe stop and push the pipe forward rather than pulling it back.

Works as intended at a fraction of the cost
Replaced an OEM part on a Viking gas range stove that stopped working. Installed the part the day received (October 31st, 2020). Part has been working fine. Part does not look as robust/heavy duty as the OEM but it is not as expensive as it either. As of today, December 23rd, 2020, part is still working as when it was installed.

Great replacement for Wolf broiler
Fit perfectly. Given the short length of the leads needed to splice to existing, would have been nice to have the ceramic nuts that were in the description. Not easy to find just 2.

Direct replacement for my Viking stove
One side of my oven was not igniting so I purchase 2 of these igniters. They don’t look exactly the same as the OEM but function the same. I had to replace both as replacing just one did not resolve my issue (the other one was likely on its last legs anyways). Once installed, the oven ignited much quicker than before, success!
