 I bought this Dash Cam for my wife’s car but I thought I would do some testing on the bench first just to get to know the unit and hopefully to make installation easier, please check out my video of getting to know the Dash cam.The dash Cam has a touch screen so this makes interacting with the camera very easy no fiddly button to press, there are lots of setting that can be customised but the default settings work just fine, the quality of the camera and accessories is excellent but there is one outstanding feature that was really a surprise; when installing the unit in the car it is very straight forward to fit the camera to the windscreen and it can be used with just the Dash Cam mounted this way but there is also an additional small camera that can be fitted at the rear of the car I found the ideal place is just above the number plate, this was also very easy to fit using the supplied bracket and then routing the cable to plug into the Dash Cam there is also a red wire that is connected to the reversing lights.Once you have installed the rear camera the display on the Dash Cam show both front and back view, the surprise is that when you select reverse the rear facing camera LED’s are switch on and the Dash Cam display changes to a full feature reversing camera with distance markers and stop indicator overlaid on the display, this is something which make this unit unique and is a real bonus.

Installing and setting up the dash cam was relatively easy and straight forward plenty of cable especially for a smallish motor like mine. The small stick on clips for the cables leave a bit to be desired but at the end of the day they do what's required of them. The length of red cable was confusing at first but once I sussed out that it connected to the reversing light so when you select reverse the camera screen automatically selects the rear camera, the 4 small LED's plus the normal reversing make parking very easy. Bountiful amount of screen icons giving a great scope to set the camera up to your own preferences, so far have it set on the auto modes and it seems to be performing well. As a 71+ year old not to technical minded pensioner have not tinkered with it too much, but all in all very satisfied with the way its performed in the short while I have owned it. There are cheaper ones out there and also some much dearer ones. If you are looking for a mid priced camera this one fits bill nicely.
