Made the problem at least twice as bad!
Purchased to eliminate a hum coming from my PC's speakers when the PC is in sleep mode. Made the problem at least twice as bad!

I would constantly get an annoying hum/static sound
I was having Issues with playback from my phone through my car stereo via the aux cable, I would constantly get an annoying hum/static sound. This has fixed the problem completely.

short cable!
I create youtube content and use this for recording the audio on my Nintendo 3DS. Does the job, but the cable length is far too short which is rather inconvenient when using it for a handheld device. Got rid of the audio crackling I was suffering from beforehand though, which is great.
