I've purchased 3 mini rods and a few of my friends have also bought them and out of all of them, this one is by far the best made rod and quality reel. The eyelets on this rod are much better quality, they aren't just bent sheet metal like the others. This is like a real mini fishing rod not a toy. The reel is machined aluminum and also a quality built part. I have had a lot of fun fishing with my others and can't wait to go fishing with this one!

Just received today. Early fathers day gift for my husband. He was very impressed. Hasn't used it yet but his work takes him many places where he can fish so I know it will be used well. Pieces were well made and come apart very easily. Also pieces can be replaced if broken. I am planning to order for my father,father in law and brother in law. Very awesome!!

The pole itself is fine for its size but the reel just plane sucks. I changed it for a spinning reel. Also the tackle is about worthless but I didn't expect much on that front anyway.

There is a problem with reeling in the line it keeps getting caught and can't cast properly.

You get exactly what the picture is showing you. If your fishing for small fish then this is what you should get.
